Would you put a dish people would complain about on your menu? If you do include it because it's an acquired taste, would you warn people about it so that they would know what to expect in advance? When I ordered the island octopus, the waiter just wrote it down without comment. The dish came, the octopus was swimming in vinegar and tasted tougher than shoe leather. When I complained to the waiter, I was told that it was tough because it was cooked in vinegar. The restaurant has a greeter urging every passerby to step inside. A person in my party has braces and can't bite into the famous souvlaki next door. So we came here, being fooled by the high rating on Google maps. A waiter immediately put a bottle of water on our table. Other restaurants usually offered a pitcher of tap water which tastes perfectly fine. We tried the "Island octopus", it was over cooked hard to chew, and the amount of vinegar was catastrophic. A very friendly gentleman came out right away, asked us to wait just a couple of minutes, and even brought a chair out for my partner while we waited. True to his word, we were seated shortly after.
