Wok Dragon EXPRESS — Restaurant in Athens

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I am a Greek American, and I was traveling through Athens, heading back to my hotel. I had a craving for Pho, so I googled where to go for Pho. This restaurant came up on google maps, so I dropped in for some pho. They said they don’t have, but handed me a menu so I could see what they did have. I looked. I said, “ ahh, no pho, but this does look delicious!” They rolled their eyes, and gave me dirty looks. I did not appreciate this, so I walked out, calling them out on their lack of hospitality, uttering the word, “Jackass!” As I left. I proceeded to walk about 10 steps, when the jackass who handed me a menu met me outside, screaming, “what did you say!” He proceeded to assault me, grabbing me by the throat, and then, it seemed as if the ENTIRE kitchen crew came outside to assist the jackass. I should have shown them how we do it in New Jersey, and I should have decked the jackass. His throat-grab, by the way, felt like the strength of my little sister, when we play-wrestle (lol!). I could’ve taken at least 3 or four of them! But, being in a foreign country, I am instinctually cautious so as to not go to jail! I am appalled, and never have I been SOOO disrespected in my ancestral country than by this disgrace of a restaurant—Wok Dragon Express!!

On a sidenote, just a couple of blocks down the road, there’s an amazing place for PHO, called Hanoi, which is GREAT, friendly, and has amazing PHO!

超好吃超正宗，简直超出想象。This is a relatively new restaurant so there is not that much reviews. We have been traveling in Europe for so long. So I had a craving for Chinese food all of sudden. But we feel like we can't trust Chinese food outside China or LA...So we went into this restaurant hoping we could found Chinese customer and ask for their opinion. And there is a whole table of Chinese people sitting there and saying the food is really good. So we ordered what we wanted. Food is out of our expectations delicious. Very fresh and good quality fish and other ingredients. Also the owner and the stuff( they have local stuff speaking Greek and English) are super super nice and friendly. The Wonton soup is the best I have ever had, you have to order that, it will make you so happy. And all other dishes were very delicious also. The picture will tell you how delicious it is. Been eating Italian and Greek food for 2 days after arrived from Zurich. Saw Wok Dragon restaurant that serve authentic Chinese Cantonese style food. Cannot wait and Super happy. Ordered stir fried beef with spring onion, garlic and oyster sauce. Stir fried Kang Kong veg and half a roasted duck. The waiter and waitress very friendly. Btw, they have menu in English, Greek and Chinese. So you have no problem in ordering. Food arrive shortly after we ordered. The stir fried beef, tender, juicy, full of wok hey, so yummy! Kang Kong such a simple dish, with super high heat wok hey stir fried bring the dish to another level. Roasted duck - the skin so so good. The meat so tender. I will come again for dinner.
