Piazza Pastarella — Restaurant in Municipality of Heraklion

I stopped at a shore side restaurant for dinner. A beautiful contemporary Italian place a block from the apartment. I was ready to pay a little premium for such a nice place and location.

A perfectly presented Italian salad and fillet cooked to absolute melt in your mouth perfection for.dinner. I ordered a double espresso because one does not finish a meal without some coffee service when one is in Europe and they provided a complimentary chocolate mousse cake.

At the end of an unrushed and amazing dinner, the bill was only $30.

Finally a very good Italian restaurant in Heraklion, along side the sea line. A great location easily accessible by car and by foot. Great variety and great tastes throughout the menu with authentic Italian cuisine and a wine list go along side them. The local is well designed and really cozy with a glass view of the kitchen so you are sitting in tm front view of everything.

One thing I would to add is the fact that the entrance is on the side, and not upfront and that the toilets are unaccessible to...

The service and the quality of the food (in my case a vegan pasta) are very impressive! The waiters are exceptionally helpful and generous. If you like parmesan you get as much as you want on your pasta until you say stop. Not forgetting the delicious dessert on the house after the filling main course.
