Ladurée Mykonos — Restaurant in Municipality of Mykonos

Food: adequate, no bread or butter comes with Laduree salad (unlike Paris, London, or NYC), "hot" chocolate comes warm; French pastries are adequate for Paul but not Laduree Paris, London, or New York (see photos) and below the Lov Group standards; salt and pepper aren't on the outside tables; no Isphan or rose ice cream macarons available at this location for summer, a huge disappointment

Service: they 're trying hard although their PDAs are complicated and take up too much time and impersonalize the experience; the receipts do NOT say Laduree but Macaree AE Mykonos, a very shady touch that seems worthy of an INAUTHENTIC franchise; they're not set up to accept American Express, unlike any other Laduree worldwide ; they have plans to expand throughout Athens and Greece so let's see if they can fix up Mykonos first

Ambience: outdoor wind; no music like outside garden NYC; no umbrellas yet on front porch making impossible to sit in afternoon sun for the view and enjoy drinks and food yet; mismatched chairs in courtyard (some blue, some Laduree green)

Every department in a new opening must have someone familiar with the legacy and other outlets because many will come that will know Laduree and expect some distant amount of...

Dessert wasn’t fresh. I picked on it, eating only top layer of chocolate. The waiter came to collect the plate with entire dessert and asked: “are you finished, was everything excellent?”. I said “I am done”… he took this disassembled dessert without waiting for any additional comments.

People next to us did not finish their drinks, barely touching them. So I am guessing their ice lattes weren’t great either.

Also to go price and to stay price is different (for my dessert it was €8 vs €11. This is 37.5% tip included in price if you are sitting down).

We also had cup of tea and a glass of wine, for these 3 items the bill...

A nice environment to enjoy your coffee and sweets. One of the best espresso on the island. A bit overpriced water at 5 euros and if you get your macarons as a "take away" a definitely overpriced box for 6 pieces. The box alone costs 3 euros....as much as a piece of macarons. Otherwise it is...
