Zenique — Restaurant in Sacatepéquez

We have visited this restaurant on 3 separate occasions, the first time the service was okay, nothing special but the last two times were subpar with the 3rd time being the absolute worst!!! We walked in at 12:10pm and was immediately told lunch wouldn’t be for the next 20 minutes, we said no prob we would wait. They brought the menu over 5 mins later and we asked what was the pasta of the day their response “we don’t know, we will know in 10 minutes”. So we waited and someone else came over to take our order and told us the pasta of the day. We ordered and the food came with the drink incorrect and the waitress seemed rather annoyed I pointed out the mistake. She gave me milk on the side versus having the horchata mixed in the kitchen as requested. While having our meal I realized we needed another beverage I looked over to the counter (not the kitchen counter) and all 3 waitresses are having a great conversation one sipping coffee the other showing something on their phone. I waited for them to notice we were looking one looked up and went back to her convo, then finally I said “disculpe” and she pops over, I asked for the drinks menu she returns with it but heads back to her location to now start folding napkins, 5 minutes later she still hasn’t returned to ask what I’d like so I again say “disculpe” and she pops over and takes my order. She returns sees majority of ppl at the table have finished but doesn’t proceed to clear the table, but proceeds to head back to the counter. I then mention disculpe and she pops over and I ask for the “La Quenta, por favor”. I’m not sure who the manager is of this establishment but the service is atrocious and needs to be looked into. Please note for majority of the time we were the only customers at the location.

I ordered two smoothies to-go. Menu doesn’t say what the smoothies have in them, nor does it say if it’s with water, milk, or yogurt. I told them with water, and they asked “both?” and I said, “yes both with water”. After waiting 20 mins at least for two simple smoothies and an empty restaurant, they gave me the smoothies. I left and didn’t try them until I arrived to my destination. Both smoothies had milk or yogurt! Good thing I’m not lactose intolerant! But this is not what I wanted in a hot summer...

Pésimo servicio. Primero, del ya poco variado menú, nos indicaron que no tenían disponible aguacate para los desayunos, no tenían disponible el yogurt de frutas, no tenían disponible las berries para la bebida antioxidante de berries. Segundo, confundieron la orden, se habían ordenado huevos benedictinos con jamón y trajeron huevos benedictinos con salmón. Al percatarnos del error y sin tocar el plato, se les hizo notar y llegaron dos de las meseras a repetir que el error había sido nuestro y que tendríamos que pagar ambos platos, cuando la mesera nisiquiera anotó la orden y la persona que ordenó el plato ni siquiera consume salmón. La actitud y servicio han sido pésimos y exageradamente lentos. Una lamentable experiencia para un restaurante derivado de Mesón Panza Verde. Por último, resulta que sí había aguacate ya que los huevos benedictinos sí los sirvieron con este ingrediente, e inicialmente no pedí lo que quería ya que en teoría, no...
