🤔Hey, it used to be a Japanese place? Imagine this epiphany while ordering a humus sandwich. Ok, well, it wasn't actually that mind-blowing of a realisation. But still, it _is_ a decent replacement. A deli version of the hip Brunch chain—yes, capital letter intended—that people queue for on Bajscy-Zsilinsky. The absence of a crowd might be due to the fact the place doesn't come up on Google maps when searching for keyword brunch. So, the whole avocado toast-hungry crowd gets diverted to nearby places, while this one stays quiet. ☝️Make use of that fact before the staff figures out how to fix it! There are only two memories of the previous restaurant: a large, shiny cooking apparatus standing in the corner (though respectfully obscured with a large plastic bush) has been left for either nostalgic or artistic reasons, and the name Adzuki Sushi & Wok Opera that still comes up on your card statement. So, if it's important for you to cover up your Sunday bagel sins with a story of high-brow Japanese haute cuisine, that's the place to be.

A cozy brunch place in downtown Budapest that also offers excellent, freshly baked pastries. The staff is welcoming and attentive. I highly recommend their Pistachio- Raspberry New York Roll, crunchy on the outside with generous creamy filling inside. It’s popular and quickly selling out for a reason. The Eggs Imperial that has trout caviar, Pink Hummus Toast made with beetroot or Avocado Salmon Bagel are all great savory options. I also love their Granola Bowl with fresh fruits. There’s also a children’s corner with huge variety of toys making it the perfect choice for those who wish to enjoy a delicious brunch, coffee with little ones, especially in this cold weather.☕️🥐

It was quite okay. The Eggs Benedigt were very expensive. It was way too pricy for one slice of ham and nearly no sauce hollandaise. The dish itself was way too less. We were still hungry and had to get another dish! We cannot recommend this place for hungry people. We also had to search for the waiter the whole time. At the end there was a Service fee in the amount of 3600 HUF. A fee for no Service. And for the reservation we had to pay 10500 HUF in advance. So all in all, we paid 90€ for 3 persons. What is ridicolous high for what we got. Cannot recommend.

Cafe Brunch Budapest - Bakery exceeded all expectations! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The interior is charming with just the right mix of modern design and rustic touches that make you feel right at home.

The food? Simply outstanding. Every dish we tried was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The avocado toast was perfectly seasoned, the eggs benedict were spot on with a velvety hollandaise, and the pastries—oh my—flaky, fresh, and heavenly. You can tell everything is made with care and quality ingredients.

The coffee was rich and aromatic, and their fresh juices were the perfect complement to our meal. Service was attentive and friendly, with great recommendations and genuine care for our experience.

Whether you're a tourist looking for a delicious start to your day or a local in need of a go-to brunch spot, this place is a gem. We’ll absolutely be coming back on our next trip to Budapest....

We visited twice in the afternoon during our seven day stay in Budapest as we were staying at a hotel very close to the Cafe Brunch Bakery. On both occasions, we found the staff to be polite, friendly, and helpful. We shared a caprese focaccia on both occasions as it was that good and that big. I had a mascaronés fahéjas csiga that was delicious while my partner tried a banana cake slice that she enjoyed. The hot cappuccino that I had was very good. Inside, they have a number of relaxing lounge chairs with lower tables and a few more upright chairs with higher tables (standard cafe chairs and tables). It's a great cafe that serves good tasty food with a...
