Embarrassing to say the least. We booked online for 21:00 and arrived even earlier. The waiters provide us with a menu without images, so it was not immediate for us to understand the dishes and we took two more minutes to choose. Too bad that suddenly one of the waiters arrives with a rude look and annoyed, telling us that we had to book immediately because the kitchen closed, and also we could only order the main dishes and nothing else (so no goulash or appetizers). Leaving aside the TOTAL RUDENESS of the waiter, to whom I asked sparkling water and instead I was served natural water, I would like to find a logical sense to the following points:

  1. If the kitchen closes at 21.20, why do you allow a dinner reservation at 21:00? Fix the schedules, otherwise tourists think they can dine peacefully, especially those who are Italian like me.
  2. If the kitchen closes at 21:20, why do you order two main dishes and not the rest? Better specify your absurd "policies".
  3. A menu in a foreign language is difficult to decipher without images, and considering that your prices are not even too cheap, I suggest investing your earnings in a new graphic menu.
  4. They made us sit in a table that looked better on the Danube, beautiful yes, too bad there was a lot of wind and the mushrooms that emit heat were far away. I would say that the arrangement should be reviewed, considering that in all this we are frozen, as if that were not enough. I’m sorry but TRANSPARENCY, EDUCATION and COURTESY towards the customer who sits at your table should be one of the most important things, especially if he is a tourist. A nice dinner has turned into a pitiful drama, to be reviewed among all other things, even the ways and professionalism of your staff. I leave two stars only because the location offers a beautiful view and the...

We stayed for drinks here on the Eve of Hungarian National Day. It was a very hot day, and we had just come to the park to listen to a jazz performance but couldn't find any shade in the park. We were really exhausted by the heat and about to leave when we noticed there is a really good shade with misty coolers blowing lovely cool air on the terrace of the Dunacorso, so we decided to stay for drinks and cool off. It was really nice sitting and relaxing there on the terrace and listening to jazz music. We could see and hear the performer really well from there. My husband ordered a beer, I asked for a non-alcoholic cocktail (as there weren't any on the menu). The nice waiter said they could do a non-alcoholic pina colada or mojito, so I ordered the mojito which was a really tasty one. We didn't order any food, but heard from a nearby table a guy giving the waiter big compliments for the food he just had. Have to come here again some day and try their food. But for us it was all about the refreshment they offered us on that day, plus an amazing view of the Danube.

An update. Two weeks later we stopped there for lunch with our friends. We ordered the French tartar, gulyás soup and shrimp pasta. The tartar was excellent, fiver stars. The gulyás was good but the shrimp pasta was...

This place has one of Budapest best views and food. Food is tasty and delicious, favourite ones are the goulash soup, duck liver and cotage cheese balls, these 3 are amazing really delicious. It is not too spicy/sweet or any strong flavor, just a smooth delicate taste. They have a good variety of dishes, including vegetarian option(goat cheese salad is really good) and drinks for an average price. Good wines. Live music is proper for the environment, not too loud, just quiet pleasant orchestra(piano, violoncello,..). At end of restaurant you can find a separated and more private room, which is perfect for groups meeting. And this area has the best view from inside, as it is closer to the Danube side windows. Stuff is fast and attentious. Restaurant furniture is more classic, for more casual/formal meals it is a good option. Otherwise it has outside space, even during winter, on warmer temperatures it is a great spot with Danube and castle district view. Restaurant can be reached by tram number 2, just in front of it. And nearby there can find nightlife. During summer it is really crowded, winter is favourite season to visit the place for those who prefer a quiet place for meals. The price is average for a meal(entree, soup, main dish, desert, wine and water, around...

DUNACORSO Despite the fact that all the restaurants in this particular area along the Danube were bustling with people, likely due to the captivating view they offer across the Castle Hill, we were fortunate enough to find a table right away, and in a good spot no less. We ordered the Goulash soup, which was flavorful. We also opted for the Pork knuckle Corso style pulled, which turned out to be quite disappointing – smashed pork knuckle, potato pancake, steamed cabbage. The Couscous stuffed bell pepper with baked camembert and Greek yogurt was decent, and the Cucumber salad with sour cream was average. I can't recall if we had dessert, but we complemented our meal with white wine recommended by the waiter. The food wasn't exceptional, but we had a very enjoyable time. Budapest is beautiful, and at night, with the lights and the vibrant, colorful crowd strolling, dining, or simply enjoying the scenery, it transforms.

I recently visited Dunacorso Etterem in Budapest for dinner. The restaurant offers live music, which is definitely one of the highlights of the experience. In terms of food, I’d rate it 7.3/10 based on the following: - Foie Gras: 8.3/10: The foie gras was rich but not overwhelming, and it was nicely prepared. - Chicken Paprikash: 7.5/10: The chicken was nicely grilled/fried, but it turned out a bit too dry on its own and still felt dry even with the sauce. The pasta was average. - Beef Cheek: 6/10: While the beef cheek had good flavor, it was grilled too much and turned out tough. As beef cheek is typically more gelatinous, the toughness didn’t pair well with the sauce, which was already quite rich and intense. Overall, it felt like dry beef with a strong, overwhelming sauce. - Goulash: 7.3/10: A decent goulash, but nothing that stood out.
