Hi! We had the most horrible, shameful and ridiculous service ever in our life for birthday party. I was responsible for organization and since I've been living in Budapest for 13 years, I am doing tour guiding for foreigners for 8 years and I know where is good food + service. I choose this place as I had amazing experience 2 times I've been there.
Dani Garcia did a great job with design + interior like no other place in Budapest, he came up with amazing menu, I went to this place when they opened - the service was on TOP like no other place. The staff was extremely attentive to my coat, my bag, when we wanted to go on a terrace - they ran to inform about the kitchen closing or if we want to order something. We felt ourselves like in luxurious but yet friendly, highly professional service.
Unlikely the management of restaurant can't maintain the quality of the service they did at the beginning. We made reservation for 6 people initially, then we added + 5 people. Instead of asking us "do you want drinks or food?" they only thought of how they can make money out of us and offered a private room for 300k minimum consumption. Back in December that room was for free and my friend had amazing birthday there, we were only 5 people. It changed. We refused that room and just simply asked them to place our tables next to each other.
When we arrived, they started to head count us in front of all the guests, even though they already knew the number. They did not take our coats when we arrived. The restaurant was almost empty. We asked them to place us on terrace cause it was a great weather and a LOT of free tables that WERE NOT RESERVED/OCCUPIED. We found a round table outside to sit, but it did not fit 2 of us, we started to take extra 2 chairs, they ran to us and said "you can't put more than 3 chairs per table". My sweet birthday friend told to manager that they are "mean/rude" to us. He simply ran away without apologizing or offering complimentary from the house to show his professionalism/care. We got even more pissed. We had to call for waiter to us bring menus, we had to ask for another table THIRD time. When we asked for "mocktail pina colada" they said they don't have in the menu, but he will check it. The funny thing that they charged for mocktail as for regular alcoholic cocktail... We wanted to pay separately, they refused. We asked for a coat, they forgot to give number for it, they said they don't have a coat... We had to ran for the waiter who took her coat and ask for help. I will not come back to this beautiful place anymore... I am really sad that they tried to impress spanish partners with high service and once things started to work well, they bragged with their high reputation, best reviews and money. But you can ran a business only thinking about money, but treating people humble, respectful and polite is the most important thing in this industry. If that does not exist, it's impossible to come back. Dani Garcia, you did a great job there, I admire with your vision!!! I wish you had a better staff to reflect...

Hello,
This is a fine-dining restaurant located in the center of the city, near the Danube River. However, the view of the river is not full because it is partially blocked by the Marriott hotel on the left side of the terrace and a low government building on the right.
What I would like to highlight is the very friendly and courteous staff! The main dining room is very beautiful with subtle, pleasant lighting. The service was quick, and the food was served promptly. The food is truly delicious and beautifully presented on a variety of unique plates and trays. The restrooms are very elegant and feature mirrored walls.
Unfortunately, the terrace is only suitable for conversations, the limited view, and smoking. When you book a table, you might be seated in the middle of the room where other guests are constantly walking around you. The tables are placed so close together that you will inevitably hear the conversations from the 2-3 tables next to you.
The prices are moderately high. I assume the management targets wealthy guests from the nearby luxury hotels who frequent this place.
It's worth noting that there is no host/hostess to greet you on the ground floor, which is a pity, as the restaurant itself is located on the 7th floor.
A small but notable incident: I ordered a Coca-Cola. It was poured into a glass, and the bottle (which was less than half full) was left on the table. After a visit to the restroom, I discovered that my bottle of Coke had been taken away.
Did I like it? Probably yes. Would I come back? Probably not.
The average bill for two people, including two glasses of sparkling wine, was 50,000 - 60,000...
Read moreMy friends and I were shocked by how we were treated by who we guess was the manager (the man wearing glasses). From the start, his attitude was unprofessional and dismissive. When we politely asked to see the food menu, he told us it was “top secret” and only available to guests with a reservation, which felt unnecessarily rude and unwelcoming. However, the most serious issue happened later. While we were using the women’s restroom, the same manager opened the door and entered the bathroom, despite it being occupied by women at the time. This is completely inappropriate and unacceptable. No male staff member should ever enter a women’s restroom while it is in use. Throughout our visit, he also kept glaring at us and mocking us while we were simply taking photos at our table, which made us feel extremely uncomfortable and disrespected. This kind of behavior is highly unprofessional and should never happen in a place that claims to provide a high-end experience. I hope you will address this matter seriously to ensure no other guests are treated the...
