The food was undeniably good. We thoroughly enjoyed the six dishes we ordered, each demonstrating a thoughtful approach to both presentation and taste.
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the service. One particular staff member, a blond waiter, displayed behavior that was not only unprofessional but downright inappropriate. His comments directed at my friend, who happens to be an archaeologist, were out of line. Specifically, he made a derogatory remark about her bag, saying, “When I saw this bag, I already knew it wasn’t going to be a big show.”
This remark was insulting and entirely uncalled for, especially considering we were enjoying a full six-course meal. Such behavior tarnishes what could have been a perfect dining experience.
We waited nearly half an hour for our drinks, which we had ordered alongside a starter. One of the dishes we ordered was not what we had asked for. Thankfully, both mistakes were corrected after we brought them to the staff’s attention. The waiter also made inappropriate comments about how we ordered our food, asking if we were planning to order “dishes little by little,” which felt unnecessary and rude. Overall, the service fell well below expectations and overshadowed the otherwise enjoyable meal.
While the food was excellent, service is a fundamental part of a restaurant’s appeal, and this kind of behavior should be addressed by management. Diners deserve to feel respected, not judged. We sincerely hope the restaurant takes steps to ensure that no future guests have to endure similar treatment.

Read moreThere are many vegan options that are marked clearly on the menu! plus the menu is truly massive and I believe can cater to everyone.
DK the waiter was very helpful and friendly, answering our questions and giving us recommendations accordingly.
I had the Chongqing Spicy Noodle that might had funnel seeds (or something else that has an anise star like taste) which unfortunately I don't like and I only found out when I tried the dish, so the staff was super amazing and understanding and didn't charged us for it because I didn't eat it. It's totally up to personal taste, and I am just informing others about the distinct flavor for anyone else who is sensitive to it. A safer choice might be something like the Fried Rice Noodles, or the Mapo Tofu that I haven't tried but DK also recommended. I also had the Fried Dumplings with Veggies which I really enjoyed!
Non vegan: My partner had the Spicy Sizzling Calamari Platter and Steamed Shrimp Siu-Mal and really...
Read moreIn terms of food quality, service and atmosphere, the best Sichuan influenced Chinese restaurant in Budapest city center. Very authentic and 重口味(China level stronger flavour) Tried a huge variety of dishes prawn glass noodles, fried lamb spare ribs, cumin beef, Mao Xue wang(spicy stew with assorted innards and ingredients), spicy sichuan beef boil and many more. They were excellent and consistent.
All that said. The true standout quality here is the staff! Service was absolutely incredible. From attentiveness to engagement. They were a 10/10. I’ve been to Michelin star restaurants that don’t come close to this level of servicing. Every time I went made us want to come back even more. Unfortunate that i have to leave Budapest or will be a regular here for life.
Shoutout to Achira Nikolas, Csabi, Luna, Isti. Thank you so much for your service and attention. Made our meals so...
