I had an unfortunate experience at McDonald's today that left me quite dissatisfied. I had ordered a McSpicy Chicken Burger Meal, excited to indulge in the combination of a spicy chicken Burger, fries, and a refreshing Coke. However, my visit took a turn for the worse, and I feel compelled to share my experience.
Upon receiving my meal, the cashier informed me that the fries were still being prepared and assured me they would be delivered to my table shortly. With that assurance, I decided to enjoy a bite of the burger and take a sip of my Coke while patiently waiting for the fries.
As time passed, my anticipation for the fries turned into frustration. In my hunger, I decided to inquire about the status of my missing fries. Unfortunately, while I was inquiring about the fries, a member of the cleaning staff mistakenly cleared my table, removing my meal in the process.
Naturally, I was shocked and disappointed by this turn of events. I approached the manager to explain the situation and seek assistance, hoping for a quick resolution. However, my request was met with a request to wait, which only exacerbated my frustration.
Having skipped breakfast, I was not only hungry but also eagerly looking forward to this meal. Regrettably, I left the restaurant without having had a chance to enjoy my burger or my Coke and, most importantly, without ever receiving the fries I had paid for.
This experience was incredibly disappointing, and it left a negative impression of McDonald's on me. As a loyal customer, I believe it's essential for the restaurant to take measures to minimize such incidents, as customer satisfaction should always be a top priority.

The ordering process is interesting: there is an LED touchscreen where you have all the options such as whether it is dine in or takeaway, then the menu is separated into the various categories such as meals, burgers, drinks, desserts etc. Once you've finalised the menu, it will ask you if you want any other items which it suggests by itself. One thing I didn't like was that it was forcing me to submit my mobile number. I later realised that it was for sending a digital version of the bill, but I'm seriously not interested in the digital bill. However, the system did not allow me to proceed without providing my number: not happy. Now I'm likely to receive marketing messages from McDonalds.
I was attempting to take photos of the displayed menus on the large screens placed behind the staff counter. However, one of the staff members prevented me from taking photos saying that it is not allowed. I found this ridiculous. I've been to many similar outlets such as other McDonald's, Burger King, Subway etc but NO ONE has ever stopped me from taking photos of the menus. Weird!!!
The chocolate mcflurry ice cream was disappointing. It's actually vanilla ice cream coated in chocolate syrup! That's misleading.

Found it tough to tel them that I was over charged and the response was - it was conveyed there will be a rate change - my kids and my brother were with me at the counter and they remembered that it was offered as an alternative and not an extra.
