We were at this restaurant yesterday for my friends birthday party. This restaurant is really elegant and the best part is that it is located at fort and this restaurant has three sections for dine-in(rooftop, bar section & casual family dinning section) The staff here is very kind and supportive and the food was really delicious, we tried some food and beverages which were:- STRAWBERRY MINT COOLER Today's number is my current favourite, a sweet, zingy fruit cooler.This zesty and refreshing mocktail is great on its own. Combined all ingridents and chilled overnight to indulge the flavour .Icy, cool, refreshing drinks to be exact – and this cooler is a must try this season! FUN AT A BEACH A satisfyingly quick, fresh and moreish summery drink that would be the perfect accompaniment. It's packed with fresh and seasonal ingredients and it's wonderful option to help cool you down in the hotter month. A Lantern Bar at Kandeel is an exceptional and matchless restro at Fort, near Flora fountain. A place that promises to give happy moments with friends and family, and delightful culinary experience.

The place is spacious with 2 seating areas - outdoor open roof terrace experience and indoor with huge tv screen showcasing live matches. The ambience is cosy with classy decors and comfortable seatings makes this place ideal for family, friends and loved ones.

The menu is well curated by the chef and it's unique, perfectly made in the kitchen taking atmost care about taste and texture. The place serves North Indian, Chinese and Continental cuisines along with artisans cocktails and amazing mocktails that compliments the food.

Cocktails White Madras - A lovely cocktail served in an attractive glass made with cranberry and orange juice, vodka, lime and mint leaves was refreshing and bracing. Blue Lagoon - A cocktail made with blue curacao, vodka and sprite was invigorating and thrist quenching.

Appetizers Paneer cheesy kebab- A North Indian delicacy which was prepared with marinated paneer stuffed with cheese and served with mint chutney was a good start along with the drinks. Veg Crispy Wantons- A Chinese appetizer of crispy wantons stuffed with finely chopped veggies properly mixed with sauces was amazing appetizer and well prepared by the chef.

Mains Oriental Pot Rice - An outstanding Chinese delicacy served with fried rice and topped with a choice of red or white gravy and full of exotic veggies was flavoursome and delicious.

Dessert Royal Falooda- A signature dessert made of flavoured milk, chia seeds, seviyan and topped with strawberry ice cream was again scrumptious and perfect dessert to end the meal.

Fort evenings just got a whole lot classier (and tastier) thanks to Kandeel's Lantern Bar! Recently swung by this hidden gem and let me tell you, it was a night to remember.

Setting the Mood: The Lantern Bar lives up to its name, offering a warm and inviting ambiance. Dim lighting, plush seating, and the gentle hum of conversation create the perfect atmosphere for a relaxed evening with friends or a romantic date.

Drinks to Die For: I started with the Kiwi Cooler, a refreshing mocktail that was bursting with kiwi flavor. Perfect way to beat the Mumbai heat! Then, I moved on to the Queen Victoria G&T. This one's for the gin lovers! The bartender didn't disappoint - the G&T was perfectly balanced and flavorful.

A Culinary Adventure: Kandeel's menu offers a delightful mix of Indian and Continental fare. I opted for the Chicken Sholay Kebab and the Bombil Fry for appetizers. The kebab was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the Bombil Fry had the perfect balance of crispy and flaky.

For mains, I went a bit desi with the Chicken Triple Schezwan Fried Rice. This dish was a flavor bomb! The rice was perfectly cooked, and the Schezwan sauce had just the right amount of spice.

Sweet Endings: No meal is complete without dessert, and Kandeel's offerings didn't disappoint. I tried both the Caramel Custard and the Paan Icecream.The custard was smooth and creamy, with a delightful caramelized top. The Paan Icecream was a revelation! It captured the essence of the classic paan in a refreshingly cool way.
