ARUM Asian Restaurant — Restaurant in Kuta Selatan

I feel the need to write a review to warn others. The food quality was poor and a complete mismatch to the service, atmosphere and price, which were all very high. This was the most expensive meal by far that we have had during our most recent 5 night stay in Bali but also sadly, our worst. My starter, the Vietnamese Pork Loin Salad included only four small pieces of pork amongst some chopped lettuce and herbs which weren’t the freshest, as you would expect from an expensive restaurant. Unfortunately, it went downhill from there. My main dish, the lamb curry, was very disappointing. The lamb pieces were not pleasant to eat and I had to take some gristle out of my mouth on more than one occasion. We decided at that point to cut our anniversary meal short and get out of there....

We had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful restaurant on multiple occasions during our stay at Meliá Bali and it was an experience to remember. The setting is authentic and creates a cozy, relaxing atmosphere.

One of the highlights of the evening was the traditional Balinese dancing, which was absolutely fantastic and provided a beautiful backdrop while we enjoyed our meal.

The food was lovely, with lots of choices on the menu. Everything we tried was bursting with flavor and tasted incredibly fresh.

A special mention goes to the exceptional waiters on the occasions we visited Mirta, Yumi, Ade, and Bayu. Their attentive service and warm hospitality made our visit even more enjoyable.

I would give the atmosphere 10/5 of I could. Service was amazing 👏 super friendly and efficient. Mirta and Krisna made the night by their warm and friendly nature. Whilst the menu is a bit limited everything is 5/5 taste wise. Appetisers where fantastic and the skewer statay combination main was great as was the sambal prawns which come peeled. Desserts where amazing and tasty. Each reaturant at Melia has a different menu for both drinks and food which makes each night seem different.
