Sunny Coffee — Restaurant in Pulau Bali

Great local coffee spot in the heart of Ubud!

I had a lovely morning coffee at Sunny Coffee, a small local-owned café located in the center of Ubud. I ordered an iced long black, which was smooth and well-balanced.

Although the café is quite small, they have an impressive selection of desserts and beautifully designed drip bag coffee, each featuring unique local Balinese elements — perfect as souvenirs or gifts!

The café was clean, quiet, and perfect for working. I stayed there for 2–3 hours, the Wi-Fi was fast, and there were charging outlets available.

Highly recommended if you’re looking for a local coffee shop in Ubud with great design, good Wi-Fi, and delicious coffee.

I didn’t take photos because I went there for work on my computer, but it definitely will be top option...

Found this small yet comfy coffee shop at jalan Hanoman, Ubud. It's located on the 2nd floor of a small boutique. When I entered, the vintage tiles accompanied my steps and I was quite amazed by how this small place designed. The mural on the wall, the chairs and tables, and the color they picked for the cushions was just perfect to each other. The owner welcomed me and he was very humble and also friendly (a plus which I don't find in other coffee shop when we're not regular yet). I ordered a hot latte and I LOVED IT. It was very bright which is a good thing in my opinion. The only thing I don't give a perfect 5 stars is because this place closed too soon (8PM). Wish that this would change in near future. I looked up a good place to get a fresh smoothie bowl and cappuccino and was quite excited when I showed up. When I arrived I was greeted by the owner or manager that was wiping down the windows. I asked him if it was okay if I worked for little bit on my laptop while I ordered coffee and my lunch. He was very hesitant and then said only for a little bit maybe one hour. The shop was completely empty and I would have most likely left before the hour was up anyway. I asked if I could stay longer if I ordered more food. He then said we do not have food.
