Electric Circus — Restaurant in Dublin

Had an absolute horrible experience yesterday for my birthday.

It was 8:20 when we arrived and got no food until 9:40, they forgot to give us menus when we first came in even after asking multiple times, we had to go in and get them ourselves. We didn’t get a drinks menu after flagging our server 3 times, we only got them because I was getting extremely annoyed. The food that was delivered to the table wasn’t ours and it took 20 minutes to get anyone to take it away, they ignored us, it was then taken from our table and given to the correct table across from us and it was freezing by then.

We got our food finally, it was clearly reheated and we ended up leaving most of it.

THEN one of the girls at the table picked a blonde hair out of her mouth while eating her poutine chips. None of us are blonde.

We then were charged for chips we didn’t order and told they had been taken off then they weren’t.

All we got for all of this (only because Of the hair that was pulled from my friend’s mouth mid forkful of chips) was the service charge and her poutine chips off the menu and only the server apologised to us.

We asked for the manager who never came, we waited for her and asked the server to get her to our table. We just left because we had to try save the evening and I can honestly say I’ve never had such an awful experience. We used to be regulars, extremely disappointed.

We were very polite the dinner and we work in service ourselves so would never send a bad reviews but the whole time we were there it was a disaster and they didn’t seem to care at all even after we voiced how our whole experience was...

Honestly the first time I ever wanted to get up and just not pay. Cocktails were mostly water and juice, could not taste any alcohol, considering I only had 5 sips until it was finished which speaks volumes about the lack of volume. Most menu items are buttermilk chicken, and they somehow make a contemptible, flavourless crust, that does not stick to the little chicken they actually give you. Every menu item had something spicy, so lack of selectivity on top of a lack of selectivity. Was going to walk away once I saw this first red flag, but me and my girlfriend were already faint from a lack of food, and yet nearly threw up after eating and how disgraceful the food was. On top of all this, the server had 0 knowledge of the menu and had to ask 3 times for the bill.

Wetherspoons food is more satiable than this pathetic imitation of eclectic food. Do both of us a favour and...

I recently visited here for the first time to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. We had an amazing time. From the minute we were greeted at the door the staff took very good care of ourselves and our guests as they arrived. The design in this place is perfect for catering to a few private parties without disturbing the normal crowd or smaller tables. We loved the mixture of pop/retro/kitsch decor which they have as it really gives the place a fun atmosphere. They have very talented bartenders who supplied us with lovely drinks throughout the night. We ordered a sharing platter for our group and it was very tasty. At some places platters are on the smaller side but not here.
