Spar — Local services in Dublin

I had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever encountered at the deli counter in SPAR. The staff were shockingly rude and dismissive from the moment I approached. Not only did they barely acknowledge me, but their tone and body language made it blatantly clear they had no interest in helping customers.

When I asked a simple question about one of the items, the response was abrupt, condescending, and completely unprofessional. It felt like I was a nuisance for daring to ask for basic assistance. There was no attempt to be polite or courteous—just outright hostility. When I eventually got my poorly made roll the staff member threw it at me, extremely abhorrent and disgraceful experience, how are these people employed?

To make matters worse, I witnessed them treating other customers with the same disrespectful attitude. It’s unacceptable for any business, let alone one in the food industry, where customer interaction is so central, to tolerate...

I wish I could give no stars at all ..just horrible attitude especially from man with grey hair , possibly manager .. when one is entering the shop he's looking at them as at potencial thief already , each step is closely monitored.. such uncomfortable feeling.. also people at deli counter need to be faster , way more polite .. this has been my grab and go shop for a while just this morning was my last visit I guess .. TOURISTS , JUST DONT SUPPORT THIS RUDE PEOPLE AND OVERPRICED PRODUCTS ! GO...

Understandably things are not going well with covid and shop is struggling, I was overcharged for Insomnia coffee! When questioned was told that that's the price. Was given fifty coffee lid covered in dirt and hair. Workers seem rude and careless. It probably the reason why this shop is always empty, how do you expect doing business if customers has awful experience. Wouldn't be my first time there, always similar experience, but would definitely...
