Huge Disappointment I’ve been a loyal customer of Featherblade for several years, always enjoying my visits—until today.

When I arrived for my booking, my table wasn’t ready. Normally, I’d understand if I’d been informed about the delay. Instead, I was left standing at the door for 15 minutes without any explanation, while the waitress rushed around serving other tables.

Once seated, the experience didn’t improve. My table was poorly set, missing basic cutlery, and I was presented with a menu riddled with unavailable items. To add to this, the bottle of wine I ordered arrived already uncorked—a baffling misstep I decided to overlook.

Unfortunately, it didn’t end there. Two of the four steaks in my party were cooked incorrectly, and not once did a waiter check on our meals to ensure everything was satisfactory. Clearly the place was overbooked and understaffed, since it then took approximately half an hour for the table to be cleared once we finished the main course.

The final straw came during dessert. Barely two spoonfuls in, a waitress interrupted to inform us that guests for the next reservation were waiting, and we needed to vacate the table. Shockingly, within 30 seconds, she returned with the bill—despite us still eating.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Featherblade with a group of 10 friends, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The food, the ambiance, and especially the customer service were all top-notch and left us thoroughly impressed. Featherblade's menu boasts an array of exquisite steak choices, and let me tell you, the food was beyond amazing! Each steak was cooked to perfection, tender, and bursting with flavor. It was evident that high-quality ingredients and culinary expertise were poured into every dish. Not only were the steaks divine, but the sides and accompaniments were equally delightful, adding an extra flair to our meal.

What truly set Featherblade apart, however, was the impeccable customer service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our group had a memorable dining experience. They were attentive, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. Despite our large party, they managed to provide seamless service, making sure every need was met promptly and with a smile. I was looking for a best steak in town for my birthday, as per tripadvisor, it is competition between 1) Fire 2) Featherblade 3) FX Buckley. As I've been in Fire already, I decided to visit the second best.

Pros: Good prices Very cozy atmosphere, much better than it seems on the pictures Starters, sides, deserts taste nice, great wine

Cons: Steaks were quite average. Ribeye was tasting like the one I would make at home on a regular frying pan. Featherblade was quite disappointing, I understand it is a cheap option, but is it even worth putting such a chewy piece of meat on the menu, especially with the name of the restaurant on it? Cheesecake is pretty nice, but need a slight improvement in presentation. Specifically, a little drop of rhubarb sauce that comes with it, while tastes great, did not look appetizing at all Service was 50/50, some staff members super nice, some, while weren't rude, created impression that they do not care about our experience and were just done with the day

Overall, I was expecting more from one of the best in town. If it would be presented as one of the best value steaks in town, that would be 4/5, otherwise 3.
