Ordered halloumi to be brought out with the main they brought it towards table only to walk away once someone told the server not to bring it yet so after another 15 minutes the hallomoui came back and it was on a very very hot plate due to obviously being the same piece from earlier that they just chucked back somewhere to keep it warm. But got no warning about the very hot plate so as i pushed it towards my partner I burned my hand. Not life threatening but we had a 4 year old at the table that could of tried to grab the plate to get a piece. After that the mains were brought out we ordered a plain chicken burger my daughter and they brought out just 2 flat pieces of chicken, so we told them we ordered a plain kids menu chicken burger after another 5 minutes they bring the burger out and it had everything on it, literally the opposite of plain. So it got sent back a second time as my kid won't eat mayo and it was smothered in it so not like we just pick the bits off. So another 5 minutes pass and my kid is still waiting now while our meals have been out over 10 minutes. But she's nibbling on some very rubbery halloumi due to it being cooked 15 minutes too early and left under a heat lamp. They finally come back with the burger and it was just a passing drop off at the table, no words, no sorry about that is that OK now, just dropped off as the server kept on walking. She then couldn't eat the chicken as it was so tough and chewy, I'm guessing it was the same bits they first brought us out over 10 minutes earlier just cleaned off reheated and reserved. And that is just the kids meal. I ordered the butterfly chicken burger and as soon as I picked it up the chicken just fell out onto the plate I tried reconstructing it but gave up after the 2nd bite and it slipping out of the bun again twice. So i gave up on the idea of a burger and just used my knife and fork and left the buns to the side. On the upside my misses got chicken thighs and had no complaints. But the overall service and quality was very poor. Been in a few Nandos and have always had positive experiences, but this one...

The selection of sides is broad, but the mac & cheese is a must-try—rich, creamy, and satisfying.

Read moreI have visited dozens of Nando's restaurants in at least 10 countries over the last 20+ years and I am sorry to say this location is hands down the worst Nando's I have ever encountered.
I have been here twice, both times to collect my order placed through the Nando's app.
On the first occasion, I arrived about 5 minutes after the stated collection time, and was told my order would be ready soon. Over the course of the next 40+ minutes I was repeatedly told it was coming soon until they asked what I ordered and it was clear they had misplaced or lost my order. By this time I went to check on my car to find it had been clamped. All in I waited an hour and paid a €120 fine for the privilege. I ended up eating in the restaurant while waiting for my car to be freed. The food itself was not memorable other than the chips being disappointing.
Tonight I arrived again about 5 minutes after the collection time and waited about 5 minutes while they seemed to be confused about my order. When I asked further they said they couldn't find my order and asked what it was for. They spent some time looking on their tablet presumably to find my order, when I asked if it was even possible to get my food given they had lost my order. It was now after closing time and they were apparently unable to prepare my order at all. It would have been nice to know that as soon as they were aware so I could leave and get food elsewhere instead of waiting around for I don't know what.
There are several other Nando's in Dublin I've eaten at literally hundreds of times, eat in, take away, and delivery, not to mention elsewhere in Ireland and the world, and never have I been messed about like the two only occasions I've visited this...
