Do not come here if you have allergies!!!! I have a severe egg allergy and ordered sushi rolls, as it had not listed there was eggs in the dish.Once i received them they came covered in mayonnaise so i then asked the waitress if there was any way i could get it remade without the mayonnaise on top of it, she suggested just scraping it off and i told her i couldn’t do that because i am allergic i cant eat it and she then brought the plate away, around five or ten minutes later she came back with the same plate she had previously taken and explained they could not replace it because “it had already been made” i then asked for a refund as i literally did not touch any of the food, even the plate. She refused saying once again “its already been made” ?? So unprofessional for a business to not list possible allergies and then refuse to replace or refund the dish when i literally cannot eat it because my throat will swell up. I couldn’t tell you how many times i tried to explain that its not that i do not want to eat the food its the fact i literally cannot or else i will go into anaphylactic shock. Absolutely not giving out about the waitress she was clearly just telling me what she was told by the boss or manager. Would highly advise you to not visit the place, the way they handled this was so unprofessional and so inconsiderate. As you can see in the picture no allergies or even...

I recently visited Pocha Korean restaurant on Marlborough St. and decided to try the Kimchi Jjigae for €12.80. Having never tried it before, I asked the staff what it was, but the response was less than helpful. The lady informed me that it was a soup with kimchi, pork, and tofu, but she failed to mention that it was extremely spicy. There was no indication on the menu either that it would be this spicy, which would have been useful to know beforehand.

When the dish arrived, I quickly realized it was much too spicy for my taste, even though I can handle mild heat. As for the ingredients, I was disappointed to find only a few thin slices of pork, three pieces of tofu, and a lot of onions. It felt more like an onion soup with a bit of kimchi and pork. For €12.8, I expected more balance and substance.

While I managed to eat half of it because I was hungry, I don't think the dish was worth the price. That being said, I’ve tried other dishes here before, and they were much better in terms of quality and value. Sadly, this particular experience fell short of...

Amazing food and warm hospitality!

We had already eaten a big meal earlier in the day but were craving something small, like a noodle soup. We stumbled upon this place, and as a Korean culture enthusiast, I decided to go in and try the Bento box. It turned out to be bigger than expected—and absolutely delicious! The beef was incredibly tender, and the rice was perfectly cooked (not too sticky). I came in with no real expectations, and now here I am, writing this review while listening to K-pop and K-drama OSTs, feeling right at home.

A big compliment to the young lady who took our order and served us. She was friendly, patient, and helpful, even taking the time to snap a picture of our group. Unlike some places where larger groups without reservations aren’t always welcomed, here we were greeted with a genuine smile. Such a great experience!

Would...
