Overcrowded, dirty toilets, everywhere full of empty glasses, no floor staff to be seen. Very drunk individuals knocking drinks off our table. Nobody mopping up. Won't be going back here for a long time. Doorman so surly.Bar staff have the I'm doing you a favour attitude serving you . Didn't hear a please or thankyou. Maybe a shirt or uniform more appropriate for staff. A guy played guitar followed by another. Played all the songs their mates wanted, boring . But the language was so very disgusting.it the norm in a nice pub or from a respectful artist. The 2 singers cursing continually. We left had enuf of their ego, we had friends and tourists with us embarrassing . Not nice or funny. If this is what you call entertainment keep it. Low standards very low. Id say he drank 5 or 6 pints and kept goin on about his hangover. Really!. No respect for your customers and you don't seem to care as you are always busy.Anything goes. A lack of pubs and music the only reason one would go there. Up your standard please and respect your customers or don't open. Employ some floor staff...

Positive Review of The Dame Tavern

I recently visited The Dame Tavern and had a truly delightful experience. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly made me feel at home. The live music added a fantastic touch to the ambiance, creating a lively and enjoyable environment.

The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the exceptional service provided by the bar staff, two enchanting ladies with beautiful red hair. Their service skills were top-notch, adding a special charm to the bar. Their delightful demeanor and helpful attitude truly enhanced my overall experience.

I must mention that the pint of Guinness served at The Dame Tavern was superb, a testament to their commitment to quality. If you're looking for a cozy pub with great drinks, friendly staff, and a welcoming vibe, The Dame Tavern is definitely worth a visit. I highly recommend stopping by to enjoy a pint and soak in the...

Dame Tavern is the kind of old fashioned pub that feels like it has probably seen quite a bit. The atmosphere is very traditional with big comfy chairs and benches where you can sit and sip a Guinness for hours and while away the night. The beer choices didn’t go far beyond Guinness though there were a few others as well. The staff was a bit brusque and wouldn’t take credit card, but it kind of went along with the atmosphere. Its location is also great for pre or post dinner drinks as the area has many good choices and isn’t too far of a walk to some other good choices in the...

Happened upon this place on our last night in Dublin (a Tuesday night). They have a guy who is there every Tuesday and Friday night singing and playing a guitar and he was absolutely fantastic. The whole bar must be regulars as EVERYONE was singing along at the top of their voice. Beware that it gets very crowded and the bar staff does their best to serve drinks but it can be a bit problematic to get a drink at times so it isn't for everyone. Regardless, a fantastic place to close out a fantastic Irish vacation!

The absolutely best pub in all of Dublin. First, the staff is amazing. This truly is a family run business and they put their hearts into it. But as great as the staff is, the patrons are amazing. In the three days we spent here, we met some of the nicest and most giving people (you know who you are) anywhere. You can’t help but feel like family and know you have a place to go anytime you’re in Dublin.

This could too easily read like the beginning of a joke: Three visiting Leathermen enter a pub in Dublin. One local picks a song. That song is of course YMCA by the Village People. The entire pub goes along with it and dances and sings along, having the sweetest chats with said Leathermen who were here for the Dublin Leather Weekend 26. - 28.2.2024 - slainté, you lovely people! 🇮🇪🍺
