Incredible Gelato and Even Better Service – Thank You, Tommaso!

We stopped by Gelateria Vertigo today and had one of the best gelato experiences of our whole trip. Tommaso, who we think might be the owner or manager, was absolutely lovely. He greeted us with such warmth and made the whole visit feel special. You could tell he takes real pride in what they serve.

We had the Nutella gelato, which was outrageously good, rich, smooth, and full of flavour without being too sweet. Our three-year-old chose the strawberry, and it was perfect: fresh, fruity, and not artificial at all (which is hard to find in a fruit gelato). She devoured it.

The gelateria itself is tucked into a charming spot in Como and feels both modern and traditional in the best way. Everything about the experience was genuine, welcoming, and delicious.

We’ll be recommending Gelateria Vertigo to everyone, and we’ll be back for sure. Grazie...

Really fresh and organically tasting gelato — could not sniff any chemical component to it in any way. You can tell this was au-naturelle, which I appreciated.

I got the pistachio and Venezuelan chocolate, which is a usual combo I get. I must say that this is one of the better ones in the town. Two things you will notice on your first bite: 1) it’s all natural ingredients and 2) it was freshly made.

The manager/owner was also kind of enough to notice that my dog was thirsty and offered my little furry some water — great customer service!

Highly recommended gelateria in the Como area! Great for a hot summer day...

Finally got the chance to try this place—and now I understand why there’s always a queue!

The gelato here is truly top-notch, easily one of the best around the lake. They offer an impressive range of unique and creative flavors—think basil and pomodoro (yes, it actually tastes like pasta!), wine-infused, spicy chocolate, and more. Each scoop is an experience in itself.

I also love that they have a seating area, which makes it even more enjoyable to savor the flavors. While it’s a bit on the pricier side, it’s absolutely worth it for the quality and creativity.
