This place is amazing! Loads on display to choose from and English spoken. You order the food from the ladies at the counter, priced per kilo, and pay at the till. eat in or take away this place is legendary.... And much better value than other places to eat. Filled with locals. Keep in mind, you'll get some ladles of food and if you want it hot they will put it in the microwave in front of you. Edited to add the staff are lovely, the ladies were really patient with 2 adults and 2 kids with no Italian language. They spoke enough English to help us and explain what pastas they had available. The service was that good I returned with my son for a chocolate tart, and a pistachio tart with a coffee a couple of days later. Great local place with delicious food! It seems to be run by a group of older women, and it is great. They greet their regular customers by name, so you know that they truly care. You can takeout or also eat in, and they will warm up your food for you. All the food I ate was delicious! Would definitely come back if I had the chance.

The only thing is that the price list is a bit small, so I was surprised by my high bill. However, that is my problem for choosing an expensive item, not theirs😅

But, for the sake of other customers, here is my warning! CHECK THE PRICES OF WHAT YOU ARE GETTING!! ⚠️⚠️⚠️

I wasn’t going to review here but due to the reviews saying tourists were treated poorly I wanted to add my experience as an obvious tourist who begins every conversation in Italy with ‘Parlei Inglese’. I was treated exceptionally well here by the ladies behind the counter, they allowed me to use the restroom prior to ordering which was greatly appreciated and when I returned and browsed the vast goods on offer both savoury and sweet overwhelmed by choice I was guided very kindly by the ladies who were incredibly patient with me and who helped me to my seat. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh and extremely good value...
