L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele Como — Restaurant in Como

If I could give this place zero stars, I would! I went here with my girlfriend, and we were ready to sit down and dine. But the owner RUDELY followed my girlfriend into the bathroom, forcing her out, saying it’s only for customers. She needed to use the restroom urgently, and I was still getting us a table!

How is this acceptable? A bathroom is a basic service in a restaurant, and she was treated with complete disrespect! It’s ridiculous that instead of being understanding, the owner showed no empathy or common decency. A truly disgusting behavior!

After seeing this inhumane attitude, I told the owner I was furious and left. Not a single apology. No concern for customers, just pure rudeness. To everyone reading this, AVOID this place! The way they treat people is unforgivable. Where is the warmth of Italian hospitality? Where is your humanity?

This is NOT the way to run a restaurant. You’ve lost customers forever. Shame on you!

Well I wanted to dine here, and went in at 18, as according to what you state on Google (and also on the information sheet at the door) the pizzeria is open from midday to midnight… But we were told they open at 19:00 by staff that was already there at 18:00, even saw someone of staff eating pizza and pizzaiolo at his station. Why would you show on Google wrong opening times? Why would you repeat the same wrong opening times at your entrance? We went specifically there and I feel like it’s such a bad customer experience and customer treatment to just send us away. As if we were the ones who failed here… I suggest you make the update and print new sheet with opening times for your door. Then maybe I will give you another chance (which I really wanted to), and update my rating...

We made a quick decision to eat at L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to a 4.0 rating. The restaurant floor was quite dirty, with leftover food scattered around from previous guests, which didn’t make for the most welcoming environment. The pizza was large, but that seemed to be more about quantity than quality. What was meant to be prosciutto and mushrooms looked more like chopped ham and canned mushrooms, and the center was a soggy, undercooked mess.
