Comocafé — Restaurant in Como

My recent outing turned into a nightmare of disrespect and poor service. Despite initially enjoying the outdoor ambiance, the experience quickly soured. The food was fine, we ordered some pizzas.

The situation escalated at the end when I needed to use the restroom before paying and leaving the place. Upon asking for directions, I was met with rudeness and indifference from the staff. Despite being a paying customer, I was denied basic courtesy, with one employee even claiming not to remember me and another stating the restroom was only for customers.

Then another one asked me to go outside with him and show where did I seat!!! I told him I am not lying! He said he cannot remember me!!! I tried to show him our table but it was hard, i told him if you can not believe me, i do not want to use the bathroom!

I went back to our table, the waiter came and said he could not remember me! I told him he was too rude and unprofessional! Another waiter described the situation for the older person(i think he was the manager)! He asked them to leave and do their jobs!!!! And he did not say anything to us!!! Just ignored us!!!

The ordeal reached its lowest point when my friend asked our waiter to help me to find the washroom, the manager saw him, when he was showing the direction the he start yelling on him and talking Italian! I asked our waiter what he said! He said never mind and he was sad how he behave!!!

This shocking treatment left me feeling humiliated and saddened. It's disheartening to be treated with such disregard for basic needs in a place that should prioritize customer satisfaction. The lack of professionalism and respect shown by the staff is inexcusable, and I strongly advise against...

To summarize why was the experience, the service and the food (at least stakes) are bad in Comocafè/"ComoDiarrhea": Service: The service was rather poor as wrong side dishes were delivered Water bottles just put onto the table without opening nor serving The table light was carelessly put onto the table without turning it on after it got darker. It was unclear what waiter takes care of our table as for every served plateor order taken another person came by Plates were removed while some at the table were still eating...

Food The quality of the food is low average The menue is rather big and which brings up the question how fresh the dishes are... medium rare meet was well done and medium was rather done too well. If the place calls itself a steakhouse I would expect more proficiency for meat. 2 out of 3 people got diarrhea after visiting the place. rather pricey for the food

Location: The location is close to the lake, yet it is not with a nice view and directly besides a rather busy street the table was fine and the napkins and the setting is pretty the olive oil bottle was smeary and not cleaned the table lamps are nice yet not turned on by the service personnel nor were they clean but rather stained

Overall not recommendable and more effort for the customer is a must...

Excellent Experience at Cafécomo

We had a fantastic meal at Cafécomo. The pizzas were superb—fresh ingredients, perfectly baked crust, and full of flavor. The quality of the food clearly stands out.

Service was equally impressive. Our waitress, Dilan, was friendly, professional, and attentive throughout. She made us feel welcome and ensured everything ran smoothly.

The interior is stylish and welcoming, with a particularly nice touch—a beautiful picture of Riva yachts that adds a subtle, elegant maritime vibe to the space.

Prices were very reasonable, especially considering the high quality of both the food and the service.

Cafécomo offers a well-rounded dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great pizza, excellent service, and a tasteful atmosphere.
