As a tourist this was the best place. We were staying a little outside the city and chose here based on convenience and previous reviews. Olga served us and she was just lovely. Literally couldn’t do enough for us and we had a great chat with her. She really tried to help when she suggested getting one main for our two children to split between them. Food was unreal. We live in London and have lots of choice there but this was a different level of ‘home cooked’ great tasting food. Portions were excellent and value for money was brilliant. The place was full of locals on a Saturday night. Worth a visit and taking a trip out of the city if you are budget sensitive and want to avoid the tourist traps this is your place. Thanks again Olga…your kindness for towards us deserves a glowing review (I don’t leave many reviews but I had to for...

I have eaten at Olga and Marco’s restaurant many times, and it is truly one of Florence’s hidden treasures. Their food is authentic — delicious, fresh, and made with such genuine care. Nothing about it feels touristy; it’s honest, soulful cooking that tastes of love and tradition.

Olga is a joy — so welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable. She makes you feel like family the moment you walk in. And Marco, the chef, is hardworking and passionate — every dish he creates comes from the heart.

This is the kind of place you discover off the beaten path and never forget. You come for the food, but you return for the warmth, the people, and the feeling of being truly cared for — mind,...

Lovely traditional place! The food here comes with no fuss. Everything is very rustic with the freshest taste. Sometimes the chef even comes out of the kitchen to serve you. The main waiter/manager is the loveliest person on earth, extremely accommodating and polite. The penne alla amatricciana was so good as well as the fegato crostini (chicken liver toast) The tiramisu wasn’t available that night but we got served a very yummy gooey chocolate cake instead. My girlfriend took the fried chicken and chips which perhaps was the only disappointing dish, due to the chicken being a bit dry and tasteless. Overall, we highly recommend this place to anyone passing by! And don’t...

A lovely place with Tuscan cuisine. The atmosphere felt very welcoming and we felt really taken care of. The white house wine was very tasty, we ordered bruschetta and polenta with boar ragu as starters. Bruschetta was really good, btw the polentaand the ragu were exquisite. Then we ordered main dishes - meatloaf and grilled octopus. Both were very very tasty. The coffee was really good too. Amazing tiny place

What a wonderful evening. We are staying a bit outside the tourist area and came upon this place. It is a spot for locals. We were lucky that one of the day servers was still there. She is the wife of the cook and was eating dinner with her daughter- and spoke English. She guided us through the family favorites and helped us choose our courses. It was excellent. Our best night on this trip.
