Alla Collina Pistoiese — Restaurant in Milan

My friends and I had a fabulous evening of food and wine here last Friday. The recommendations from our waitress were excellent with seasonal and typical dishes we may otherwise not have tasted over two courses. Accompanied by great wine recommendations too. I think that many of the reviews relate to the bar on the corner with the terrace - we went in there first thinking it was the restaurant because there is a sign on the street corner that is actually quite misleading. I wouldn't hestitate to recommend...

Das gute zuerst: Das Fleisch war lecker und das Essen kam schnell. Nun das schlechte: das Essen meiner Freundin war kalt mein Steak wurde ohne Beilage (Gemüse) und ohne Soße serviert. der Kellner hat erst die Teller meiner Freundin abgeräumt als ich noch am essen war. einige Minuten später kam der Kellner und räumt die Gewürze und das Olivenöl ab, obwohl ich immer noch am essen war und eben jenes noch brauchte!!! der bestellte Aperol Spritz hat leider überhaupt nicht geschmeckt und war viel zu überteuert! die Stühle waren unbequem

Daher kann ich leider nur 1 Stern geben, so leid es mir auch tut. Sorry, aber da kriege ich für weniger Geld direkt am Domplatz deutlich besseren Service, mehr Qualität und Quantität! NICHT ZU EMPFEHLEN!!!!

The good first: The meat was delicious and the food came quickly. Now the bad: my friend's food was cold my steak was served without side dish (vegetables) and without sauce. the waiter only cleared my girlfriend's plates when I was still eating. a few minutes later the waiter came and cleared the spices and olive oil, although I was still eating and just that still needed!!!! the ordered Aperol Spritz has unfortunately not tasted at all and was much too overpriced! the chairs were uncomfortable

Therefore, I can unfortunately give only 1 star, as sorry as I am. Sorry, but there I get for less money directly on the Domplatz significantly better service, more quality and quantity! NOT...

I've eaten here 3 or 4 times now and it's always been a pleasure - it's a traditional restaurant which serves high quality food. It's a place I love taking family visiting from the UK to as the cuisine is something we would rarely find on the menu of an Italian restaurant in the UK (for example, the artichoke salad). My Italian is also quite basic and slow however the staff are always patient with me. Cannot recommend this...
