This place is very overrated. We went for a late dinner, when we arrived we were ignored for a while and then asked to wait while no one inside came to greet us. The selection was not very broad and quite expensive while not serving quality. First we got our drinks where a lemon was not fresh. The food was not served at the same time the pizza came way before the pasta. The pizza (Pizza Duomo) was very doughy not very much flavor and the pistachio was tough. The pasta (Rigatoni gamberi) tasted very fishy and some shrimp were unpeeled, peeling was quite a hassle because they were saucy. By the time I was done my plate was taken quickly, this creates the feeling like the other has to rush. Then while we were taking the last bite, they asked if we were done, they took everything while we were still chewing. We got up to pay the check at the counter, the host was not friendly explaining some of the costs. I would not recommend this place and I can say I’m a foodie.

This place was not horrible by any means , but it just wasn’t absolutely amazing for the price . But also we were in the heart of Milan , so I wasn’t shocked at the price 121 euro . The eggplant parmigiana was top notch !!!! My spaghetti carbonara was amazing. They do not have options for kids and my daughter didn’t care for the pizza we ordered her . Do not come here if you have loud noisy kids , there were multiple local business lunches going on when we stopped here and the place it’s self is very stylish , not a place for loud kids running around. My husband didn’t care for his seafood pasta but he could have just ordered the wrong thing . The service was good and the waitress all met us with smiles . The Moscow mule was very tasty ! This place is good , just not our favorite and very pricey. Very comfortable though and has air conditioning:) hope this can help anyone .

I’ve been going to Da Regina for years - they used to serve what I genuinely believed was one of the simplest, most amazing pastas in Italy. Unfortunately, on my recent trip, I learned they’ve changed the sauce and presentation. What used to be a light, perfect dish is now drowned in a thick vodka-style sauce. It’s heavy, overdone, and completely loses the magic it once had. It went from a 10/10 to a disappointing 5/10. I gave it two tries just to be sure. The first time, I was surprised by the change. The second time, I showed the waiter a photo of the original pasta and asked if they could still make it. He told me no, it’s not served anymore, and added that all the plates are now prepared the same way. It’s a real shame. They took something iconic and flattened it into something generic. Just look at my photos - the new pasta is such a mess.

If there was -5, I would definitely score this restaurant that. This was the worst restaurant ever in my life that I had experienced. Food quality was bad and the Staff were like gangs.

My friend and I visited Milan Church and wanted to eat nearby. By Google map, we found this restaurant with a relatively high score. The restaurant looked nice from the environment perspective. But after we sat down and took the order, the special experience started.

During we waiting for the food, they offered the bread but in a yellow take-away paper bag, like it was produced days ago. After we said this wasn't needed, they took away the bread and put it in the drawer under dinner sets. The waiters and waitresses were not professional at all. They took empty glasses without notifying us. When they changed the sets, they just dropped them on the table without anything under. We ordered two different seafood pastas. Both of the tastes were exactly the same and very salty. My plate had clams. There was one clam opened rotted and totally black. We stopped eating right away and called the staff. One of the waiters took away the plate immediately, and left us sitting there alone for 10 mins. In the meanwhile, we tried to talk with other waiters and waitresses, but there was one guy seemed as the manager always coming to interrupt the conversation and asked them to do other stuff instead of helping us. We found the waiter who took away my plate, and asked about the solution, his answer was: " I didn't cook it. This was not my responsibility." We walked to the cashier and talked to the so-called owner. He told me, that according to cctv, we almost finished the plates. If there was some problem, we shouldn't just finish it. So, his original words were " either pay, or call the police". Finally, we have to pay 6 euro service fee and the other plate. and then later, we found on the receipt the pasta costed 22 euro but on the menu, it was 20 euro. So they cheated 2 euro more. After we walked out of the restaurant, the manager followed out, kicked litter bin in front, and shouted F** word in Italian to us.

That is all the true experience we had with this high score restaurant. We didn't care about the price but was expecting the equal service and quality, while with Da Regina (or Da Ponti, the name written out of their door), this was totally not the case. If you want to have a perfect journey in Milan, this restaurant is recommended the last place you should visit. And if you are curious of the manager who yelled at us at the end rudely, you can visit their Facebook page and found the guy who always had photos with the celebrity in the...

DO NOT COME TO THIS TOURIST TRAP!!! I ordered the seafood pasta dish that came wrapped in aluminum foil shaped like a swan?? This was the first warning sign... The shrimp in my seafood was indeed NOT fresh. It was very tough and tasted very sour. I also ordered the bolognese and caesar salad. They were also very flavorless and not good. My partner and I took a couple bites and immediately asked for the check because it was just not worth eating the rest. I talked to the second manager explaining my dissatisfaction and not once did he apologize or show any empathy. His only reaction was to raise his voice at us to say that the seafood is fresh and that it was impossible my shrimp was not fresh. He was extremely unprofessional and started to get really personal with a CUSTOMER! He was not understanding nor cared that we thought it wasn’t fresh. He was in his own head and disagreed with everything we said. Is that how you treat a customer?? We didn’t expect to get a discount, only an apology which we didn’t even receive. This restaurant is not worth your time and the service here is absolutely horrible. Don’t run a restaurant if you can’t take criticism, especially if your food is mediocre with a hint of expired shrimp. Lastly they couldn’t even offer us plates for our appetizers and expected us to eat it...

The service here is TERRIBLE. The staff are all unfriendly. Not one person greeted us hello. The lady who seated us sounded like she didn’t want to talk to us at all. They talked to us in a very demeaning tone. The food was also very mediocre for Italy. The carbonara was watery and didn’t taste like carbonara at all.

While we were still eating, the waiter already came and started taking out our plates and clearing our table. We had to tell him we were still eating. And he just looked at us and left. No apologies at all. Worst customer service ever. The restaurant was empty for a reason. Do not waste your money here. When we were going to pay, he just slammed the bill on the table. We don’t know if it was because we were the only asians in the restaurant, but all the waiters had the same aura. None of them seemed friendly, and no one paid us any attention. We did not feel welcome at all.

I paid via credit card, and he dropped my receipt on the table. He did not hand it to me, nor did he have the decency to place it on the table properly. He outright just dropped the receipt on the table and let it fall upside down. No eye contact, no word of “thank you” from anyone. Worst dining experience in Italy. This restaurant does not deserve to be in the...
