Where to start. After a 3 hour walking tour we stumbled upon this place on the way to Trevi fountains. Everything started out great, we were sat promptly outside and the waiter greeted us straight away. The restaurant peaked - 1) our wine came out in 5 minutes but our drink order did not come out for 30 minutes 2) our appetizers (1st course) didn’t come out after 60 minutes after we had to reordered. At the same time we asked if we need to reorder our dinners - answer was ‘no’ we got it….lol….see #3…3) after 70 minutes our appetizers came out and 5 minutes later we were asked for our dinner orders again! 4) oh, we did get bread after we asked again 45 minutes later into our meal. I suspect our food order was rushed because the pasta was below average. I would compare the Carbanara to Kraft macaroni and cheese. That is a shame since we had awesome Carbanara at Da Tonino just two nights before. The pasta was undercooked perhaps going for al dente and then more. We got to order a 2nd round of drinks after 1 hour 40, minutes and they didn’t even take the bottle cap off the Fanta for my son. 15 minutes later, his drink is still not opened and it is getting warm. We are a little disappointed (actually more than) that this was our last dinner in Rome. Update - they charged us for 2 caprese apps, only ordered 1. I’m glad they charged a cover charge of $12. Restaurant goers - you have been warned. Disclaimer: it was Friday night and they could be understaffed but this borders gross negligence

Great food for a normally tourist trap area and friendly service. You can watch them make fresh handmade pasta dishes from the front window as you’re walking past. The internal courtyard is a nice getaway from the bustling surrounding areas considering it being located in the middle between the Trevi fountain and Pantheon. Ask if Salvatorre is working the Pizza kitchen as his pizzas are truly authentic! I told him as I was leaving that his pizza tasted just as good the really good ones from Naples and surprise, surprise; he’s originally from Naples! Try the Margherita; although the simplest of flavours it is done to absolute perfection! Wonderfully super thin base in the middle with a wood fired fluffy/chewy/bouncy crust that has a crunchy shell to bite. While in Rome, don’t miss out on a taste of Naples without actually traveling all the way there for an authentic pizza slice!

Stopped in for a quick snack having already abandoned another cafe due to lack of service. This one was a mistake too. Very slow to get a menu, place an order etc. Only 2 of 4 croissants came and drinks. No staff to notify. Later we questioned where our food was to be told there had been a miscommunication. They eventually came, but after we finished our coffee. Again difficult to get attention for the bill. It took 45mins for a quick snack of coffee and croissants at €32. Shockingly bad start to our final day of holiday. Waste of time and money. Following the update from the owner - yes definitely the correct location. We were sat on orange chairs along an almost corridor - it was tucked out of the main view. As a customer it is not my job to have to get up and look for staff. Let’s hope my experience was just a bad day.

We were looking for somewhere to stop for dinner when we were accosted by a waitress of this restaurant. It is a beautiful restaurant and seeing someone making pasta in the window, we had high hopes for the food and service.

They were quick to take our order but that is where the good points stopped. They refused to give us tap water along with our beers which during a heat wave in Europe is bad form.

The waiters were unprofessional. They argued with one another in front of us, rude in their manner when you asked them for something (an extra fork or the bill) and when my partner went to the loo, one pushed past him in the doorway, showing little regard for the paying customers.

The food was average, and considering it was our most expensive meal in Rome, it was very disappointing.

When we had finished our meal, we waited for someone to clear our plates and give us our bill. We must have waited 10 minutes before we had to ask for the missing bill. The waiter came and gave us our bill and told us he would back straight away with the card machine. We waited another 15 minutes before we left our table to find someone. As we made our way to the bar, we found our missing waiter: he was chatting and laughing with another customer with no card machine in hand.

To add insult to this terrible experience, the restaurant had added a service charge - which we requested was removed based on our experience. The waiter removed the charge immediately, and didn’t once ask what was disappointing about our service and how it could be rectified. As we we leaving through the door the manager offered us a glass of complimentary Prosecco hoping it would wash away our bad experience. We declined - even a free bottle couldn’t undo the bad taste this restaurant left...

We came across this place while visiting the Trevi fountain and the Pantheon. There was a chef making fresh ravioli behind the windows so we decided to give it a try. The place looked clean and nice for a quick lunch.

We ordered some calamari, the pasta with seafood and the pasta with carbonara. The calamari was wonderfull eventhough it wasn't freshly made as mentioned on the menu. The pasta with the seafood wasn't too bad either, not the best but also not the worst. However, the pasta carbonara was really not what I had hoped for, there was so much parmesan in it that it was too salty to eat and the salty bits of bacon didn't help with that either. The pasta was also prepared very al dente which was a little bit too hard for my liking, but everyone has his own preference.

The staff waiting the tables was very rude. When we tried to order, the girl waiting our table was very annoyed and she clearly wasn't too excited to take our order. However, we did see one girl who was very friendly to the customers, but that was about it. When we told our waiter the carbonara was too salty she looked offended and told us it was because of the bacon in the carbonara. She didn't offer to send it back to the kitchen or whatsoever so we paid the bill and left.

Overall we would not recommend this place. We wouldn't come back to this place for the food nor...
