This small takeaway pizza place serves traditional Napoli recipe’s handed down through 6 generations that rivals the best pizza restaurants in Rome. Fiore Pizza is an absolute treasure. The walls are decorated with photos of the family history, still serving some original recipe’s handed through six generations (over 100 years) of pizza-making expertise. Sasy, the man at the front desk, offered spot-on recommendations that helped us fully experience their craft. Make sure you’re hungry because starters, mains and desert are all unique and delicious. We had croquet to start, the pizza margarita with buffalo mozzarella, the rum baba, and Neapolitan donut. The food is made with care and love. Everything is freshly made and they sweat the details. You can ask about what flour they use in the dough, it’s a special blend of 4 different types and see the pictures of their family serving mountains of donuts in 1947. It’s clear this place is built on passion, tradition, and heart. Visiting Fiore is a highly recommended! It’s surprising there’s rarely a line, considering the quality.

Forget about the colosseum, forget about Trevi fountain, when you come to Rome you need to get to Fiore! Hands down the best pizza I have eaten anywhere in Italy, and I’ve eaten a LOT of pizza in Italy! The crust has the perfect crunch on the outside while being soft and squishy inside. The Lucariello pizza may have changed my life. The smoked cheese along with the ricotta and salami were exquisite! We came here twice during our four days in Rome and even tried for a third time but they were closed. It’s a family run business from Napoli and everyone is so friendly. On our second visit (they even remembered us!) it was my birthday and they sung me happy birthday! We also tried the calzones and they were so delicious as well. The donuts are also a must, so warm and sugary and everything amazing! When I return to Rome, this will be my first stop!

Hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had — and I don’t say that lightly. As a self-proclaimed pizza connoisseur who’s enjoyed slices in San Francisco, Chicago, and New York City, I can confidently say Fiore in Rome stands out above the rest. The crust was absolutely perfect — thick, crispy on the outside, soft and airy on the inside, with just the right touch of olive oil. The tomato sauce was rich, slightly sweet, and paired beautifully with the dough. And the buffalo mozzarella? Easily one of the best cheeses I’ve ever had on a pizza. I found Fiore completely by chance — it was just around the corner from my Airbnb — and it ended up being one of the best random food discoveries of my life. Authentic, flavorful, unforgettable.
