Gelateria dei Gracchi — Restaurant in Rome

Good Gelateria, easy to find with a nice selection of flavors. In my opinion, not as good as Neve Di Latti, but quite good. Small shop, you will have to go outside in the plaza close by to eat your ice cream. While the day was not particularly hot, the ice cream started to melt pretty much right away. I took Grand Marnier / chocolate and Rhum / Chocolate. Both flavors were really strongly dark chocolaty if you know what I mean. However, my wife's eyes started to sparkle as soon as she tasted it. I am not sure if my opinion is biased because this is the first Gelateria that we went to in Rome, but the quality of their pistachio gelato is absolutely amazing. Most places serve it as a smooth gelato but this place serves it with small chunchs of nuts that give it a memorable texture. Nowhere has matched up since!

My family also tried some of the other flavours and were also complementary, especially given the very reasonable prices charged compared to many...

Worst ice cream I've eaten in Italy. Small and expensive, but the worst was the taste. I bought Pistachio and Vanilla. The pistachio nuts was horrendous and probably moldy. I had to scratch off the pistachio ice cream and throw it. That's how bad it was. How did this shop get such a good score on Google? The lady working there was rude as well. Maybe they have good cakes or something..? I wouldn't recommend buying ice cream...
