I was looking for Suppli to try on my last day in Rome and I had already walked 30 minutes and none of the eateries had it on their menu. I was pretty tired and ready to go back to the hotel, but then I saw that this restaurant had Suppli on their menu so I asked for a table for two.

The waiter was pleasant and let us choose a table to sit down at. The person I was with looked at the menu and decided what they wanted. When the waiter came over, we told him our order which was Suppli and a fried cod dish. He looked surprised and asked us if that was all and whether we wanted to order another portion of Suppli, to which we said no. Then he said ‘you don't want 2 beer’, and we responded no.

From this point onwards, he became rude and uninterested in serving us. He returned shortly after with our dishes. He put them on the table, without saying a word, and walked off. The Suppli (just one large Suppli on a plate) arrived slightly cold in the middle, but the filling was not bad. The fish was flavourless. After eating the food, we asked for the bill. He asked whether we would be paying with cash or card and we said card. He returned with the card machine and we made the payment and left immediately.

There was no thank you, goodbye, hope you enjoyed your food, etc. once we had placed our order. He was unhappy that we had placed a small order, even though we have every right too.

I would not recommend going to this restaurant. The food was bland and overpriced, the waiter was incredibly disrespectful, and I would genuinely describe this as a tourist trap. I should’ve known better when the whole menu was in English. Luckily, we visited many amazing local restaurants at our time in Rome. Save your money and...

In short: wrong pasta order, then raw pasta, hair on french fries, bill took more time to arrive than for the food to get served.

Shame for italian culture. My friends ordered tortellini with mushroom and creme(and we were told they don’t have tortellini and will do ravioli instead) and they came in 5 mins…with ham and creme instead. One of them doesn’t eat meat. Pasta dishes were returned making the server aware they ordered something else and in 5 more minutes they got served the “correct” thing but we still didn’t know if it had meet or not. The ravioli were raw, not al dente - you can see the white flour when it’s cut in half. I ordered a salad and french fries, that were also frozen fabricates just like pasta and sauces if you couldn’t tell by the description above, and to top it all off with the sensational food, there was an eyelash on those french fries. We are 3 girls all wearing mascara, its not ours for sure. And the actual cherry on top - we asked for the bill and the server completely forgot about it. He realised he forgot about us when he looked at us while he served the table next to ours.

Obviously didn’t leave a tip.

Bonus points that there wasn’t a service fee, not that I would have...

I had the unfortunate experience of dining here recently, and I can confidently say it was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that customer service is not a priority here.

First and foremost, the service was abysmal. The staff were unresponsive and seemed completely disinterested in attending to customers. When I finally managed to get someone's attention, they were incredibly rude and dismissive. It felt like I was a burden just for being there. I got charged for tap water, I was shockingly told, "If you don't like it, don't come again."

As if the terrible service wasn't enough, the hygiene standards were appalling. The cups and plates had a foul smell, reminiscent of something rotten. It was clear that they were not properly cleaned. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was just as bad, with a pervasive stench of rotten eggs that made it difficult to enjoy any aspect of the meal.

To sum it up, this restaurant is a place I would strongly advise avoiding. The staff are rude, the service is nonexistent, and the hygiene is severely lacking. Save your money and your stomach – dine...

A very pleasant experience for a Sunday lunch. Even though the restaurant is close to the di Trevi Fountain, it is not a tourist trap, the prices are normal for the center of Rome (pasta around €15, pizza around ten). Moreover in this place you can find family restaurant with nice interior and friendly staff. We tried the classic supli as an appetizer (good, just fried: 4/5), for the meal my girlfriend had ravioli (she praised them a lot and I also thought they were good – 4.5/5), I tried the saltimbocca alla romana (absolutely perfect taste of veal meat with ham and sage, even if at first glance it reminds a bit of a school canteen - sorry not sorry - the taste is an absolute bomb! Also included in the price is a side dish, flavored potatoes, for EUR 18 a clear 5/5 and one of the highlights of the stay), we had pistachio tiramisu for dessert (5/5 again). We washed it all down with a very good red wine on tap and left completely satisfied. 5/5 and I especially recommend desserts and saltimbocca.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. When we first walked in, staff were extremely rude when we asked simple questions about the food. Dismissed our question about the wifi password. The food was just terrible. I ordered the spaghetti with mussels, and there was absolutely no flavour. The sauce was watered down at the bottom (clearly microwaved). For 14 Euros I did not expect this. When it was time to pay, I gave in a 20 bill and my friend gave in a 20 bill. Waiter came back and accused us of providing counterfeit money. We explained that would not be possible - I had taken out my bill earlier that day from an bank in Rome, and my friend had her money taken out from back home in Canada. Waiter continued to argue. We paid using a 50 bill and left angrily. Have never had such a bad dining experience in my entire life. We figured the staff may have acted so due to our races (we were both Canadian born Chinese). I URGE you not to come here.
