Service - Very good service. There was pleats of open seats so we were seated right away. We had a waiter that did not speak good English and he went and got one that did. Food - We got a caesar salad to share and it was amazing. She got the Tuna and it melted in your mouth. We both shared a plate of grilled veggies, again amazing. I asked about the aged meat and got the tomahawk that was aged for 45+ days. I have never had an aged steak so I am not sure how it should smell or taste. But it smelled like a dead animal and tasted just like it smelled. I did not eat it. One of the waiters said, “Steak is a hit or miss and that was a miss.” But, like I said I don’t know what it should of tasted like…(tell me your thoughts) Drinks - Can’t speak much on this. She had 1 glass of wine and I had water… I was surprised that water cost 5 Euro! Location - Maybe a 2 minute walk from the train station. Things to know - just about every place in Venice does this, not just this place. There is a table service charge and also most places do not put a % on your bill for the tip. Instead they just put a direct charge on your bill or they have a note that says tips are not included. They did not take anything off for the steak but they came out with 2 lemonchello’s and said this is free because of the steak.

This restaurant is right infront of the train station so you would be fooled to think that it is busy all the time. It seems most customers who come here are waiting for the transport, and given the close location, that’s fair enough. That said however, the food might appear cheap on first glance, but once you add in the service fee and value you get from the quality and portion size it seems the place is vastly overpriced. We had the scrambled eggs and breakfast burger, as well as a cannoli, cappucino and an orange juice. The juice was severely overpriced given the size, the taste of the breakfast dishes was extremely bland and needed a lot of salt to balance out. The egg was also overcooked. As for the cannoli, it was a small sized one which was not clearly specified, at 2.5 euros each it is heavily overpriced given a full priced one sells for the same price about 200m away. The cappucino was actually quite good, and I give credit to the staff whom were extremely attentive and welcoming. That said, the food was quite bad. *edit: we were charged extra 6 euros for the bread which we did not order so assumed came with the eggs. Also upon giving them 100 euro bill for a 39 euro tab, the waiter came back with exactly 60 change not giving us any coins, a forced tip as it were.

Showed up in Venice late and after stumbling around the city and being turned away everywhere as it was too late to be seated, we were hungry exhausted and getting frustrated. They took us in with such hospitality and saved the day. They said the kitchen had been cleaned already but if we wanted pizza they could serve us. Done deal. The pizza was amazing. When I heard the crust crunch as he was cutting it, I knew I was in for something special. Sat and had multiple bottles of wine and enjoyed pizza while trying our best to communicate across languages. Food was delicious and waitstaff was fantastic. I haven’t read any reviews here but I feel it deserves more stars than it has. Between the pizza, the people, the wine and the price, I’d highly recommend.

Tourist trap! We went to drink a coffee while waiting for the rain to stop, we knew it probably was a tourist trap but thought it was okay to go just for a coffee.

First of all the prices are really high, even for Venice. 5.50€ for a Caffe Latte is Starbucks prices, which is high anywhere but especially in Italy. We ended up taking a continental breakfast which costed 8€50 for only bread, spread and coffee. The bread was weirdly oily but Italy is not famous for their bread so I guess it’s on me. But everything was super expensive for no reason on the breakfast menu, it was kinda ridiculous.

We asked for lattes macchiato and the waiter dismissively said “caffe lattes” a few times even when we insisted we wanted macchiatos. We ended up getting caffès lattes (which is good but not what we asked for). My friend asked for oat milk and they gave her soy milk without even asking if it was okay. She could have been deadly allergic for all they knew and it would’ve been the same. Latte macchiatos and oat milk are both written on the menu so we were not being entitled customers, if they can’t do it then they should tell the customer beforehand or remove it from the menu. Honestly the coffee wasn’t anything special taste wise.

The waiter was super loud, and kept talking to us in English even though we gave no indication of speaking it. My friend talked to him in Italian and we spoke in our native language between each other. So it was kinda weird.

I’m sure there’s plenty of better places to spend your money in the area. It’s fine if you don’t mind getting an expensive drink, but I would definitely...

(I asked why he took my card so he returned me and I don’t I think he would not return me at all ) He throw my receipt on the floor so I need to pick it up from the floor I went so firstly after very overpriced meal just with one small bear . When I asked second small bear while waiting bill 15 min he said “restaurant is closed and why you not came at 7pm and you are Are already too drunk “ He just accusing us in everything! I felt my self sick after this dinner and rude waitress behavior After dinner felt even more stressed that after long journey from Budapest whole day driving that day And this was my first time visiting Italy Venice imagen my first experience !
