Their floor manager treats tourists/customers with contempt.

We were very disappointed with the way your floor manager with, in his words, " 16 years of experience" in London and Paris treated my friends. The most unprofessional and rudest waiter I have ever experienced in my life.

Andrea, I believe his name was, was very pushy when it came to ordering starters and tried to order for us two dishes that we didn't want. When we said we would like some more time he pulled a face, clearly unhappy, and said "ciao, see you later". I get it, it's a busy restaurant, and you want to get customers in and out and to upsell cheaper options, but there is a way to do it with respect.

I wish I could say that this was the extent of the poor experience. But it was just the start of the disgraceful treatment we received!

When we ordered drinks, the same manager made a mistake, we were brought white wine instead of red by a colleague, this was absolutely no problem for us. We understand that mistakes happen all the time in this industry.

But what happened next is inexcusable. The manager came back to the table with a glass of red wine and put it down and rudely said to my partner

" So you changed your mind? "

My partner calmly explained that she did not order white wine, and that she does not like white wine and that it was no problem. But the staff member repeatedly refused to accept that he made a mistake, saying it's what we ordered. In his prestigious 16 years of waiting obviously he has never heard of "The customer is always right"? He would not let it lie and kept debating it. A glass of wine!!

At this point I lost my cool with his attitude and how he had the cheek to treat us in this way and things regrettably got heated. But the whole situation could have been avoided if he colleague was not so arrogant and got on with his job.

To cut a long story short, we ended up leaving the place without getting any food. Not a good experience while on holiday. Again I advise you to avoid this establishment.

I recently dined at La Lista Venezia Bistro, hoping for an enjoyable meal, but unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations.

The carbonara I ordered was a major disappointment. The pasta was hard and overcooked, lacking the creamy and indulgent texture that a proper carbonara should have. It felt like the dish had been rushed, leaving it dry and unappetizing. As for the pizza, it was equally underwhelming—bland, with a soggy crust and toppings that seemed thrown together without care. It did not come close to the quality I expected from an establishment claiming to serve authentic cuisine.

When I brought up my concerns to the staff, I was met with an unprofessional response. Instead of apologizing for the subpar dishes or offering to rectify the situation, one staff member simply kept asking why I didn’t like the food. The lack of accountability and unwillingness to address my concerns made the experience even more frustrating.
