If you're looking for convenience near Venice’s Santa Lucia train station, this hotel is hard to beat—just a 4-minute walk from the station. That alone is a big plus, especially in Venice where you want to minimize hauling luggage over bridges.||Arrival tips:||If you're arriving by car, taxi, or bus, be aware there's only one drop-off point, and it’s about a 10-minute walk to the hotel, including a bridge with stairs—not ideal with luggage.||If arriving by train, exit the station, turn left, and watch for a small alley—easy to miss, but the hotel is just a short walk from there.||Check-in advice:||Always double-check the amount on the payment machine before tapping your card.||There’s a tiny elevator (fits 2 people with luggage), but at least there’s no staircase hauling if you come by rail.||The room:||Beds are two singles pushed together—standard in Europe—but I ended up in the crack more than once.||AC was weak, so we had to open the windows. Be warned: bathroom window has no screen, and we had some issues with flies.||Bathroom has a bidet, and the toiletries were great—especially if you have allergies or sensitivities.||Breakfast:||Included in the rate. You’ll book your reservation time at check-in.||It was fine, not fancy, but convenient before heading out for the day.||Service:||The first night staff was friendly and helpful, even gave us water.||The second night, not so much—we were brushed off rudely for asking a simple question.||Overall:||Would I stay again? Probably not—but if I needed a quick overnight with easy access to the train, I’d consider it.||Would I recommend it? Only if location and practicality are your top priorities. Just set your expectations accordingly and know the quirks ahead of time.||Hope this helps someone make the best choice for their...

The hotel is conveniently located near the station, which is the main advantage. However, there are several issues that future guests should be aware of: Housekeeping is very poor. When I lifted the blanket, I found several unknown hairs scattered on the bed. For a room costing nearly 300,000 KRW per night, the amenities were extremely disappointing. After cleaning, staff did not even replenish basic items such as soap or shampoo. During the peak heat of August, the air conditioning was not working properly. The room temperature never went down. When I raised the issue with the manager, I was told it was centrally controlled and nothing could be done. I ended up spending very uncomfortable nights in the heat. Most concerning, I caught an insect in the room—uncertain if it was a bedbug or a cockroach. This raises serious questions about the hotel’s hygiene standards. At breakfast, a staff member—a white female employee—displayed questionable manners. While my wife was getting food, she suddenly came over and asked for our room number. This was not done at the entrance for all guests, but selectively at the table. It felt as though Asian guests were being singled out. While verification may be necessary, approaching guests mid-meal in such a manner is disrespectful.
Overall, aside from the convenient location, our experience was disappointing and uncomfortable. I hope the hotel addresses these issues for...
Read moreTERRIBLE terrible experience. This hotel presented RACIST and discriminatory manners to Asian travelers which COULD NOT BE tolerated.
I booked a room clearly said for 2 persons, but upon arrival the front desk immediately demanded an extra €50—without even a greeting—just because only my name was listed on the reservation. I searched immediately on Expedia and changed the guest number setting to 2, and the price for the same room same night is even $6 cheaper than the price I paid. When I argued, they kept lowering it to €30, then €20 – this is obvious blackmailing. I asked for relevant policy for the extra charge, and the staff literally spent 30mins searching but couldn’t find any valid policies.
His attitude and behavior is extremely rude and RACIST, targeting me as an Asian traveler assuming I wouldn’t understand English or would just give in. The fact that he said “this is not your country where are you coming from” when I just asked him to show me the policy and mentioned that I have never encountered this situation before would make anyone feel upset and targeted. I am glad Expedia helped me cancelled my reservation, but shockingly the front desk even threatened the Expedia agent who helped me on this. So I strongly warn others, especially Asian travelers, AVOID this hotel at all costs.
And to this hotel: Asians are not pushovers. Be nice to other people, especially your customer, is a...
