I had the pleasure of visiting bArCollo in Venice and was impressed by the warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and attentive, making it an enjoyable experience from the start. The breakfast is simple yet satisfying, with a nice mix of options that suit both traditional tastes and those looking for something more familiar.

We ate here before checking out today, the pancakes were small for 6€ and the plain omelette I ordered was forgotten. I received it about 20 minutes later. This should've cost 7€, I questioned the arrival of Expresso and orange juice that I can't drink. I was brought the dish that cost 11,90€ which came with a salad that I couldn't eat either. I also found that if you can't eat or drink a part of the meal they don't care, no subbing.  I was charged for a meal I didn't order. At most places this deceptive practice is not allowed but...

Good and cheap food for the area. I got a carbonara for under €10 which felt insane considering everything nearby was €12-15+. It was delish and they bring a a whole jar of parmesan so you can add as much as you like. The rest of the food also looked good. Nice area by the canals but tucked away in a little court of restaurants so it’s not overlooking a canal. Great spot to people watch.
