Trattoria Agli Amici — Restaurant in Venice

We came expecting classic Venetian / Italian food but in the end we felt almost physically hurt and totally disappointed. Prices were okay if the food would’ve been good. But the pasta was almost inedible, somehow made with vegetable broth (there is not much that you could do wrong with aglio olio), the cheese and bread were the cheapest you could buy in a supermarket, mushrooms from a can. Baked potatoes were overcooked potatoes put in a pan and fried for 30 seconds (not baked at all). Risotto was okay but absolutely nothing special. The main courses didn’t come together so each one of us had to eat “alone”. Toilet was disgusting. The staff was very friendly but it does not help when you’re totally unsatisfied with the food in the end, it would have been better to cook the food by ourselves at home. The owner qnd staff were super friendly and caring, always with a smile o their faces. As an Asian, I felt comfortable with kind service. We had an omelette and panini. The price was fair qnd the food was well balanced qnd not overstuffed with cheese to make things too rich. What we got in terms of quantity qnd flavor exceeded what the price would indicate.

If you want fair priced coffee and meals I would highly recommend this place. Ive lived in 3 continents Asia Africa and Europe, qnd have visited many countries. Whenever I visit Venice I will drop by here for a coffee and a light snack. Give it a try and keep in mind the value you get for the...

Generally nice atmosphere and I like the the services prices Arkwright fair enough for men and I think that they have a quiet good offers if you are such a shame for a middle price.

I like the service and also the taste of the food was really nice and also the options for vegetarian for the drinking are enough for area.

As mentioned the price for the city of the Venice was nice and I think that's actually paying that money was as the same as the other cities in Italy although we could see very different prices but it was nice.
