After being enticed by one of the waiters to eat here, we were hungry then went in. I have since found out that you should never eat where you have to be enticed in with offers of a free liqueur. Lesson learned. I ordered the lasagna and my granddaughter had the gnocci. I pushed myself to eat enough of the lasagna to know that it was not enjoyable. It was dry and flavourless. The waiter who was very attentive and noticed that I was not eating it. He offered me another option which I declined. It was my dislike of the dish not perhaps what others would like. That being said the gnocci was equally as flavourless. When we were seated it was obvious that we were tourists so things should have been explained further to avoid problems when the bill arrives. We were asked if we wanted garlic bread and I said sure. We were asked if we wanted water, again yes and we chose the still water. The garlic bread was crispy dry Naan bread...not garlic bread. I have never heard of Indian Naan bread being served in an Italian restaurant. It was not worth the calories and we did not eat it. When we received the bill we were charged 5 Eu for the water and 7 Eu for the "garlic bread". When I mentioned that the restaurant should advise their customers of the charge. Where I live garlic bread and water are free with a meal. I had thought it would have been a gesture of good will to discount our bill for the poor meals and the inedible garlic bread.
To the person responding to these posts. May I suggest that you read them and your responses again. Your responses to negative feedback is to refer to your customers as liars. Negative feedback is never easy to hear but if you really listen they can have a positive result. Perhaps you should take some of the feedback and make changes. The negative feedbacks all have common concerns. Instead of replying rudely as your comments alone would make me not choose to eat at your restaurant as a customer looking for a nice...
Read moreWe consumed food and drinks and before we could order dessert, the bill was brought to us - unsolicited. When we said we hadn't ordered a bill, the owner came and told us we had to leave as they needed the seats. If that had been a nice request, we might even have done so, but they simply began to serve us without being asked, even though some of our drinks hadn't even finished. The boss was downright aggressive and started to insult us when we didn't leave fast enough for him. In the end it all came down to one thing: Apparently we didn't consume enough for them (although we ordered food and drinks, as I said) and they apparently say there's a chance to squeeze more money out of others. It would be best if you put your money down and just sneak into this place. Apart from that, the hygiene in the toilet was underground, I don't even want to know what happened in the kitchen.
Edit (answer to answer of the owner): Its not true what you are telling, its simply a lie. We communicated from the beginning very open, that some of us will walk away and come back later, we never asked your team to make us such a big table. And NOBODY ever asked us if we maybe could change inside the restaurant, because we definitely would have done it. It was just like this: we didnt order a bill, and a waiter brought us the bill. We sayed: We didnt ask for the bill. And in the next moment you came out and insulted us while taking away everything from our table. Sorry you are absolutely wrong in a business like this, you have no manners, you have no style, you are just a really rude, unfriendly, selfish and malignant person. By the way: i studyed tourism, i know how the things...
Read moreA really bad experience mainly from the point of service and the from the culinary aspect (or lack thereof). We sat down after being invited in by one of the waiters , we ordered a chicken salad, pizza and a fresh seafood pasta dish. The salad arrived within reasonable time, however (and this is the culinary part) we were given a salad dressing freshly bought from a supermarket, as can be seen in the attached picture. Olive oil, vinegar and maybe some balsamic would have done the job perfectly. The parmesan cheese grated on top was old and flavorless, the chicken dry. Once done with the salad the wait started, After 30 minutes of repeated requests to see what's going and repeated "One minute more" we had had enough and started to leave, a discussion then followed during which our food finally arrived (40 minutes later) but we had lost our appetite for our dinner and were not interested in staying. The waiter then demanded that we pay for the entire meal including the dishes we did not eat regardless of the circumstances. I refused, paying for what we ate and actually added approximately 15 euro more in error due to the stress of the situation. I was followed by the waiter saying I should be ashamed of myself and my behavior. An Interesting anecdote is that another waiter who witnessed the entire incident followed us and apologized for the...
