READ BEFORE YOU MAKE A RESERVATION. update: we posted a comment on their Instagram, stating that the food does not look like in their pics. They deleted our comment and blocked us. They do everything to keep up the appearances. It’s fraudulent.

This was a horrible experience on every level. Let’s start with the atmosphere. The terrace and location is beautiful, no doubt about it. It’s a shame however that they play loud unsuitable music so that you cannot have a decent conversation and that the tables are so close to each other that you (or the waiters) cannot move around. Also the tables are so small that your food does not fit on the table.

Then the (unexisting) service. We had to ask 4 times for ice cubes in our water, and three times for an ash tray. The waiters (except for one guy who started 2 days ago) treated us arrogantly. When I asked for a bottle of wine, they returned with another bottle of double the price (60euro!). When I asked if we could first try the taste, this was impossible.

The food is overpriced and not tasty. I ordered the cod filet which was definitely not fresh. It would come with potatoes and fresh veggies. I received two small unseasoned potatoes, 1 piece of broccoli and half a tomato.

We paid 88euros, for no service, a small plate of unseasoned food, a starter and two colas. Please do not go here....

We were so disappointed with this restaurant. The waiter hardly spoke English so we asked for another waiter. We walked by the restaurant the previous day to see the menu. We were told that there was no problem that we were pescatarian/vegetarian. The evening of our dinner they would not make any adjustments to the menu. We asked if we could have the pasta with truffles, and omit the veal…we were denied. I didn’t understand why they did not want to satisfy their customers. We asked for Romaine lettuce in our salad-the same lettuce that was in the Caesar Salad. They did not do it. The restaurant’s location was great for attending the opera, but very disappointing. I’m sorry to write such a negative review, I hardly ever do this. PS. Our hotel concierge tried to convince us to dine elsewhere but the restaurant looked so nice that we stubbornly refused...

The worst Caesar salad I have ever been served. I know - why would I order a Caesar salad in Verona - but it was because the other two things I wanted weren’t available. On a very limited menu. My companions had ok pasta, but when I pointed out the completely unripe tomatoes (I know, there shouldn’t be tomatoes in a Caesar salad, but I didn’t design it), the waiter just shrugged. We ordered water that never came, and when we wanted a second round of drinks there was nobody whose attention we could attract. Just as well, I did not want to give them any more of my money. I know it’s right near the touristy area, but we have had so many better meals nearby that were not nearly as expensive. And had attentive and friendly service. Extremely disappointing...

We had an amazing time at the pasta and tiramisu cooking class with Jasmine and Ava at Rubiani Verona Restaurant. The experience lasted about three hours and was the perfect blend of fun, learning, and delicious food. Jasmine and Ava were warm, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel welcome from the start. With their guidance, we learned to make fresh fettuccine and ravioli from scratch—kneading the dough, shaping the pasta. We also got to make a classic tiramisu, which turned out to be just as delicious as the pasta! Highly recommend this experience—Jasmine and Ava were fantastic hosts, and we left with full stomachs, new skills, and great memories!

The food was pretty nice but the standards of the service and atmosphere didn’t really match the sophisticated interior design they were trying to exude. The waiter was quite awkward with cutlery thrown haphazardly on the table, there was specks of dirt in my glass and at one point a large bird cage fell on top of a diner. It was like a faulty towers dining experience which made the menu and coperto seem way overpriced at €5 per person. We were quick to leave and note to never come back as soon as we finished our meal. I imagine this place has better days with other staff as they’re usually pretty packed through the days when you walk by.
