We were treated with such kindness that we felt genuinely sorry we couldn’t stay longer. And the coffee: This was the best espresso I had during my entire journey through Japan — and honestly, one of the best of my life. I can’t claim to know every roastery in Japan, but if this is where you find the best coffee, I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised. We tried beans from Honduras, and the espresso was so mild, sweet, and fruity that it completely took me by surprise. This place is absolutely worth a visit — no hesitation, no fuss, just drop in!
