TULLY’S COFFEE Kyoto Teramachi-dori Shop — Restaurant in Kyoto

I’m in Japan for a week and walk just under 2km every morning to get the only properly prepared Flat White in Kyoto. I have never heard of Tully’s before I came to Japan but there is no coffee culture here (due to having a developed tea culture), all other coffee shops serving 1980’s style filtered & stewed brown liquid. We came here to rest and bought an outside drink for my kid because they don't have kid drinks, in case they don't allow us to do that so we purchase a coffee from them. And AFTER we bought their drink they said "NO" to us very rudely meaning that we can't have outside drink which was very shady, as they could have said that before we buy the drink so that we don't have to waste money! And their drink was awful compare to other coffee...

Tully's is one of my favourite chain coffee shops wherever I am in Japan, and the taste never disappoints me. This branch is located in the heart of Teramachi's shopping district, making it a perfect spot to take a break and rest tired feet.
