Tldr: Don't go here under any circumstances. ここで食べないほうがいい。
Advice for the chef: Reduce your oven temp slightly and extend the cook time of your pizza.
I made the mistake of not actually reading the reviews before dining here. Just as per some other reviews in English, the pizza dough was indeed raw. The toppings on some of the pizzas were not particularly good, but they could maybe have been salvaged with cooked bases. They apparently did improve on some previous reviews where they were upfront about the service charge this time once you sat down. However, 300 yen per person for a couple bread sticks that you need to share is a joke. I would at least expect some decent slices of bread with olive oil at that price point. They also force you to buy a drink claiming that they're an izakaya.
The staff weren't rude and the atmosphere was adequate. However the food did take some time to come out. Ultimately, I don't go to a restaurant for atmosphere or even service; I go for food. There's nothing more upsetting than having to fill your stomach with 2400yen worth of raw pizza and getting slapped with another 2400 yen of forced service charges plus drink charges. Instead of paying close to 5000yen total for a standard order, you could get quality nigiri or cheap wagyu elsewhere. You could even get decent Japanese food with drinks on top and still be cheaper than this restaurant.
I'm full on raw dough so I can't even eat elsewhere to satisfy myself for the night. Truly an upsetting experience, but the thing that's most upsetting is that I didn't stick to my gut feeling and walk out as soon as they handed me the sheet explaining the service charges. That should have been an obvious red flag. I'm not even angry,...
Read moreGood prices, but a disappointing dining experience. The Italian salad was very small - a few lettuce leaves, a couple of tomatoes, balsamic vinegar and a dash of parmesan, accompanied with a small piece of bread, something resembling an omelette or quiche and some unknown, weird but tasty condiment. I ordered the prosciutto salad pizza and my wife ordered the pizza margherita. My pizza was a bit dry with not enough tomato sauce in my opinion, and the choice of cheese was odd - using probably parmesan over mozzarella. Also it was topped with lettuce which is an odd topping for such pizza, and personally I'd prefer more classic pizza toppings such as arugula. The waiter mistakenly ordered the wrong pizza for my wife, which arrived much later than mine. Her correctly ordered pizza arrived after I was almost done with my own meal. The pizza margherita was nice, using mozzarella and more tomato sauce - maybe even a little too much sauce, but the pizza was nothing to write home about. The pizzas are thin-crust, too thin for my liking. All in all I didn't enjoy the meal too much but at least it was...
Read moreSeating Fee - The restaurant charges extra seating fee for 200 per person without telling us or showing the fee in the app order menu. I feel like I’m being cheated.
SLOW TIME - Also, the food is pretty normal (3 star) and the pizza takes 40min, the guests coming after us are served with their pizza first. I am really upset.
Dirty - The wine glass is not being cleaned and dried properly and contains some water droplets on surface. The table contains some leftover food and oil stain when we join the seat. Are they doing their cleaning properly?
Overall, I won’t come to this...
