You order with a machine that has pictures and English options so no Japanese is required. The menu however is basically all very Japanese food (lots of raw egg). Think of it as a more traditional less fast food version of Matsuya.
While the food is quite good and the menu very expansive with a lot of options, what is the eye-dropping part is the value. You get extremely large portions for the price here - in fact some of the rice bowls are actually a bit on the too large side so arrive hungry.

I ordered the pork cutlet set and my friend the curry. Pork was tender and perfectly crisp! I always love the shredded cabbage salad and dressing - so refreshing. I ended up giving my friend half my rice to soak up the generous helping of curry in his dish.
