My wife and I recently visited Niboshi Ramen after attending the Osaka March Sumo Basho nearby, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Despite reading a few concerning reviews alleging discrimination against foreigners, we felt nothing but genuine warmth and hospitality during our visit. I'm Hispanic, and my wife is African American, and we were both welcomed kindly and treated wonderfully by the family who owns the restaurant.
The ramen itself was outstanding—the niboshi broth was deeply flavorful and the noodles perfectly cooked. Located conveniently close to the sumo venue, it’s an ideal spot for a delicious meal before or after the matches.
