Dont care if there is a language barrier or if staff seems cold or not based on other's experiences but if there is something displayed that can be bought (alcohol bottles) you shouldn't restrict willing paying customers from ordering certain things because it is their first time there.
As someone who works in the hospitality industry, this is by far the worst and most disappointing encounter ever.
Originally wanted to go there for food but due to the place being small and packed with patrons, we were not able to dine in. Was not allowed to wait as well so we went to eat somewhere else to kill time.
Came back the 2nd round around close to 11pm, food is no longer available but that is fine since I wanted to drink some mezcals.
Excited to drop mad amount of money for mezcals, I was told that I can only order from 4 from like 30 selections because this is my first time at the place.
I been to a lot of bars around the world, never in my life I cant order something because of this reason. So it seems like they have to be a regular to order more premium items so that excludes tourists from being able to get a decent service.
I could go to a world class cocktail bar, pay just as much for rare items and get treated like a regular human being.
Would never come...

Authentic Mexican Cuisine in the heart of Higashi Shinsaibashi.
Chef trained in Mexico while he was spending time with a host family as a student. Trained by "La abuelita de la familia", so learned the family recipes that have passed down generations, can't get more authentic than that.
Smaller venue that can get packed during the weekends, so recommend going early.
Can't comment on the drinks since I am not that keen on Tequila. But their collection is quite extensive given what I have seen displayed on the shelf at the bar.
Actual score would be closer to 9/10, but giving it a 5 out of 5 given that it satisfies the 2 most important aspects when it comes down to places that serve food, it must taste good and must have reasonable pricing.
Still excellent and very satisfying Tacos. Slight price increases due to inflation but still well worth the money spent. (Updated...
Read moreI came here yesterday around 10pm to try to eat with my girlfriend, and immediately got told they were closed, even though they have a sign that says open and it says they are opened until 1am, and there was also a customer drinking alcohol and eating at the bar. He was not sold out like he is telling some of the other bad reviews this place gets, because he didnt even know what i wanted before getting sent out. all i wanted was a few drinks, which i can see multiple full serving bottles behind him. the next day we try again at 9:30, and immediately got told their are no available seats, even though we can see 2 open tables and multiple seats opened at the bar. nowhere does it say anything about reservations or even got told that reservations were needed. Nobody there explains why we cant be there or how to make reservations to eat there, just either “no” or “closed”. avoid this place, its not worth the trouble. read other bad reviews on this place and youll see customer service here is terrible. this place reminds me...
