My friends and I were looking for a place to have some post-lunch coffee when we found this place. It was a Saturday afternoon and the place was crowded but we managed to get ourselves an al-fresco seat immediately. We didn’t get food as we just had lunch but we can definitely say by the way all the food at the other tables looked that the food menu is something to be explored. We did however got us some afternoon drinks. Forget the coffee, I had a pretty good Aperol Spritz, and my friends got craft beef, all of which were good. The staff were quite accommodating and responsive to our requests. The nicest thing about this place is that it’s right by the entrance to Shinjuku Gyoen Park, so would highly recommend this place for a pre-drink session or a post-park stroll refresher. The weather was nice and being in the al-fresco area made it a really good weekend afternoon catch-up. Would definitely visit again. If there’s one thing I would like them to improve, it’s the seat. Could use some more padding as it was on the hard side. Other than that, this place is highly...

I ate the lamb T-bone steak and it was the most delicious and special touching. We squeezed plenty of garnished lime to give it a scent, and then took it to the mouth with a sauce of herbs such as basil. The mellow taste of rock salt worked well on the whole and brought out the good taste of lamb meat. The red wine recommended by the waiter matched the scent of the lamb exquisitely, and the smooth tannins shed the oil of the lamb. In the olden days, a British cook said, "Roasted lamb should be marinated with plenty of herbs, salt and lemon." I ate this lamb and thought it was true. I will go...

I usually don’t write reviews but felt compelled to share our disappointing experience. We visited bar pelota with high expectations, but unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. The waiter’s behavior was disrespectful; his attention was inappropriately directed towards my wife, making us both uncomfortable. Moreover, I felt ignored throughout our meal. The whole atmosphere was affected by this and became quite unpleasant. I hope the restaurant addresses this issue so that future patrons do not have a...

Service was a mixed bag - there was no greeting and no explanation of the ordering system - just given a tablet and expected to work it out. However, delivery of food was expedient, and settling the bill easy. The food was fine, and we actually went back last night (unsuccessfully as it closed on Monday’s, silly us) to try other more demanding dishes. Wine seemed overpriced, and so we stuck to beers.
