Bar TOKYO BRAIN — Restaurant in Tokyo

I don't really like going to bars and clubs but Tokyo Brain is an exception. In fact, I have already put them in my starred places in Google Maps. I went here with my Couchsurfing group and was greeted by Calvin, the bartender/owner. Just like what other reviewers say, this bar had a really cozy and intimate ambiance which made it conducive in creating new friendships. I am really glad a fellow Couchsurfer suggested this place because not only we had a good time at the bar but also I got to know more about Calvin.

I went here on my own on a holiday. Honestly, I've never been made so welcome in a bar before. The owner is one of the nicest guys I've ever met (typical Canadian) and some of the people I met there; I wouldn't change the experience I had for the world.

If you're on holiday in Asakusa or just in Tokyo I recommend paying a visit to Asakusa Neighbor.

The drinks are reasonably priced and the chance of talking to locals will give you the best experience you can have in Tokyo. I also made some life long friends in that bar that I wouldn't change for the world. I can't wait to go back to Japan and pay Asakusa Neighbor...
