Got to chat up with a few locals on a Thursday night. Would love to come back if I am in the area

Never tried the food, hence the 3/5 star there. Asakusa Smile Bar is great. Visited during November 2023, shame on me for forgetting to review. I met Calvin in another bar and he told me about his bar so my mother and I went there and it was great. We had a good time. The drinks were good, the prices were fair, Calvin is a lovely bartender and a great conversationalist. Bonus points for making patrons smoke outside (me being a smoker as well). A great...

Friendly and cosy neighborhood bar with an international flavor just across the street from the Asahi beer building. The bar gets crowded but there's always something going on there be it parties, folks playing board games or tourists popping in for a chat with the locals.
