御徒町の中央通りの西側は、休日でも比較的人は多くなく、それに伴いこのカフェの周辺も静かです。だからかもしれませんが、このカフェの利用客も騒がしい客はほぼ皆無で、終始快適に利用できると思います。 老舗の純喫茶のような佇まいで、食器も質の高いものが使用されています。コーヒーを始め給仕されるドリンクにもこだわりを感じ、特にコーヒーは確かに濃厚であるものの決して不快に感じるようなくどさはありません。（その時期に仕入れた豆の種類にも依ると思いますが）酸味は比較的少なく、香りは強すぎず弱すぎず程よく鼻腔をくすぐる程度で、非常に絶妙な加減で淹れているのが分かります。その分、価格は高めですが、プチ贅沢として利用するには丁度いいカフェかもしれません。 出入口付近にも座席がありますが、主な客席は中二階と半地下にあり、それぞれ階段のみの昇降となります。車椅子等の障碍を持つ方は、出入り口付近の座席を利用するといいでしょう。また、注文したドリンクやケーキ類には、2時間までテーブルチャージ料が含まれていますが、利用時間が2時間を超えると別途テーブルチャージ料が加算されます。無料の水は利用でき、入店時はスタッフが運んでくれますが、2杯目以降はセルフサービスとなります。

The west side of Chu-o Dori (the central street) in Okachimachi is relatively uncrowded even on holidays, and accordingly the area around this cafe is quiet. Perhaps that is why there are almost no noisy customers in this cafe, and you can use it comfortably from start to finish. It has the appearance of a long-established coffee shop, and the tableware is of high quality. The coffee and other beverages served here are made with the utmost care, and although the coffee is certainly rich, it's never unpleasantly strong. The coffee, in particular, is certainly rich, but it never has an unpleasant stale taste. The acidity is relatively low (depending on the type of beans purchased at the time), and the aroma is neither too strong nor too weak, but just enough to tickle the nostrils, indicating that the coffee is brewed to a very fine degree. The price is high for this reason, but it may be just the right cafe to use as a little luxury. There is seating near the entrance and exit, but the main seating is on the mezzanine floor and in the half-basement, each with stairs only. People with wheelchairs or other disabilities may want to use the seating near the doorways. In addition, drinks and cakes ordered include a table charge for up to two hours, but a separate table charge will be added if the usage time exceeds two hours. Not crowded at 20:30 on a Fri night; got seated immediately. Medium sized store but quite charming.

Got the 1,500 yen cake set that includes a 900 yen drink, paying the difference for anything above. Mille crepe cake was creamy and tasty -- went very well with the mocha (despite the name it's black coffee, not a typical mocha). Various coffee types to choose from.

Overall an enjoyable cafe open until a little late until 10:30pm for a good chat with friends...

Classy Japanese café with over 60 year's history. Staff are nice and work briskly. The coffee here is quite recommendable because they go great lengths to select beans from different places. Also the atmosphere is fairlrelaxing thus a good place to have casual chat with friends or enjoy...
