⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – Bunmeido Café Ginza: Delicious Food, Great Service, and Clean Atmosphere!
Bunmeido Café in Ginza is not only famous for its legendary Castella cake but also offers fantastic Western-Japanese dishes! I tried the Neapolitan Spaghetti, Omurice, and Steak, and every dish was absolutely satisfying!
Taste (5/5)
Neapolitan Spaghetti: The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the tomato sauce had a rich, slightly sweet Japanese-style flavor. The addition of sausage and bell peppers gave it a deliciously fragrant aroma.
Omurice: Soft, creamy, and flawlessly made! The rice inside was well-seasoned, and the demi-glace sauce on top added a deep, savory flavor.
Steak: Juicy and cooked to the perfect level of doneness. Served with a flavorful sauce and well-balanced side dishes.
Price (4.5/5)
For a premium location in Ginza, the prices at Bunmeido Café are reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes. It’s not cheap, but the taste and experience make it well worth it.
Service (5/5)
The staff was incredibly friendly and professional. They patiently explained the menu and provided excellent recommendations. The food was served quickly while maintaining top quality.
Cleanliness (5/5)
The café was spotlessly clean, from the tables and utensils to the well-maintained kitchen area. The atmosphere was also calm and cozy—perfect for relaxing after strolling through Ginza.

The star of the show here is undoubtedly their signature honey cake. Perfectly balanced in sweetness and buttery richness, this cake is soft, fluffy, and melts in your mouth with every bite. You got to order a drink per customer if you want to dine in. and even so, there was a crowd and a queue waiting to be seated.
As you can imagine, retail space is money in Ginza and to be expected seats are close to one another and you can eveshdrop each others conversations while you have your tea.
Absolutely loved the high ceiling and the glass wall on one side opened up the space further.
As the cafe was along the street, take the table only if you enjoy people watching or enjoy being watched by all the passerbys that are shopping.
I also found it really lovely that the back of the cafe was a floor to ceiling high stained glass sort of art work. There is a plaque that probably explains what it is about but it is in Japanese. So .. I didnt understand, but i took a pic for those interested.
When we settled in, we got the Japanese Sweets Box set and the Camomile mix tea. All the sweets were great. Very light and delicate, and most of all, not tooth...
