I tried the lunch course, which included a plate of assorted appetizers, pirozhki, borscht, and a main dish. The appetizers were all served cold, each with its own distinctive seasoning — a delightful variety of flavors and textures that made the start of the meal really enjoyable.

We visited Rogovski restaurant during our trip to Tokyo and were treated to authentic Russian cuisine. The multi-course "Russian Course” introduced us to classic flavors.

Some of the dishes we enjoyed included black caviar served with a Russian pancake, a hearty chicken pie, and pelmeni dumplings. Each traditional preparation was superbly made.

Our server was highly professional in presenting each course. He spoke fluently in Japanese and Russian to accommodate all guests.

Food is delicious, the borscht has steak so not vegetarian friendly it could use a tad more salt and sour cream but the amount of vegetables made up for it in my opinion. Staff speak Russian, Japanese and English, I had no problem ordering in English and the waitress translated the menu for me. The atmosphere is very nice I almost forgot I was in a mall! They play Russian music at a comfortable volume, the lights are dimmed a little which makes the place feel cozy, the decor is very charming and the stained glass ceiling is stunning.
