Caffè Veloce - Minami-Shinjuku — Restaurant in Tokyo

Another nice convenient city walker’s pit-stop café, not in or next to, but just “near” Shinjuku station south side. Relatively calm inside given the busy location and you can be more relaxed at a 2nd floor table. It doesn’t get full, usually. No sunshine throughout the day with no open view could be an only downside, especially in a cold season like now. Cheap café. It’s a good choice if you don’t want to spend much money and want to chill somewhere while getting coffee. I ordered a café latte, an orange tart and a coffee jelly for ¥1,045 total. They have English menu. They also have some seats with plugs to charge your phone or connect your laptop. The place has two floors, so there are many seats available. They have room for smokers too. It’s not the best café with the best coffee, but it’s a good choice to keep...

I often stop here before going to school a few stations away! I really love the 黒糖オレ, have ordered it every time! Staff are always very patient with me when I struggle with reading menu kanji and ordering correctly (even though I literally order the same thing every time…lol). They also complete orders very quickly.
